A Link in a Great Chain
6m read
Dear friends,
Every Sabbath morning, a question is asked in churches around the world: “Did you study your lesson this week?”
Truly, there aren't many things that unite and bind Adventists together more than the weekly Sabbath School lesson. Members, new and old, around the world open the same lesson and have their minds focused collectively on the same Bible topic each week. What a marvelous invention!
As a Sabbath School teacher in my local church, I look forward to the discussion each week with my class where I invariably learn something from Scripture that one of my fellow classmates shares. And whenever I travel to a different city, state, or country, what a genuine sense of belonging I get when I have the same experience with a church family I may have never met before! Nothing binds the Adventist family together quite like Sabbath School.
It's no wonder that Sabbath School lessons are one of the most popular things people listen to on AudioVerse, so we wanted to make them easier to find, easier to use, and a better tool for weekly study.
To facilitate this, we've just launched a new Sabbath School page on AudioVerse, built around each quarter’s adult Bible study guides (which I still affectionately call “the quarterly”).
Here is what you'll find:

You can open the page right here and start listening for this Sabbath. Better yet, bookmark it to come back to each week!
I'm especially excited about the topic of this quarter's Sabbath School lesson, “The Gift of Prophecy.” Apart from the Bible itself, nothing has been more important in my Christian walk than the writings of Sister Ellen G. White. And I am thankful that our worldwide church family is focusing our collective attention on this most important subject for an entire quarter.
At AudioVerse, we've endeavored to make the audiobooks of the Spirit of Prophecy as widely available as possible, and we are working on some exciting things in this regard that we hope to be able to share with you very soon. Stay tuned!
Support the Ministry
The various Sabbath School lessons on AudioVerse are being listened to by thousands of listeners in more than 140 countries each week. Behind every one of those plays are the servers, the apps, the editing, and a small team that keeps it all running. And with your help, we can make the Sabbath School lessons even more accessible to even more people.
If AudioVerse has been a blessing to you or someone you know, would you consider a gift today? A monthly gift is especially helpful, because it lets us plan with confidence and keep every message free.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer, in sharing, and in sacrificial giving. We could not do this without you.

See you in Sabbath School,
Alistair Huong
