David came from a mostly non-religious background, but this all changed in 1997 when, at age 18, he was introduced to Adventism through an evangelistic series held by a local church. In 2000, he went to Union College to study theology, and has spent most of the last 15 years in literature ministries, including 5 years as staff at SOULS West. He is currently the farm manager at Fresno Adventist Academy.
