Heaven When God Says Come

We are gonna be talking about heaven when God says come.

Well, we're gonna talk about why we don't want to go to heaven.

We'll also talk about the gospel to the millennials.

We'll also talk about heaven and communication, then heaven and innovation, and finally we'll finish with the call, the call.

So I want you to think for a moment, if you had 1 of these guys look at you and ask you what is so good about heaven?

Not your typical Adventist, you know, maybe not even your typical Christian, but if they looked at you and they're like, man, you act weird, I see you going to church all the time, You know, what is so good about heaven?

What would you say that would speak to them?

So, why else are we not so crazy about heaven?

Because the media has been pretty thorough in attacking our concept of heaven.

So they come out with things like, you only live once.

Now that flies in the face of what we believe because we think you're going to live twice.

Also they come out with things like live for now.

And Gnostics have this philosophy that they would take a Bible story and they would take the good character and they would ascribe negative characteristics to this good character.

So as you're swept into the story, you hate the good character.

But then they would take the bad character and they would ascribe good characteristics to the bad character.

And so you would then feel good about this bad character.

So in Revelations, it says, And I saw an angel come down from heaven having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent which is the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

And cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal upon him that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled." Alright, pretty straightforward.

An angel comes down, grabs the devil, isolates him to the earth where he has to roam by himself for a thousand years.

Not saying I know what the intentions are of the producers.

And I gotta confess, my thinking was, of all the most benign things, we're cool with Wally.

Well, let's take a look at the story of Wally.

So Wally is this robot that's left on the earth, okay?

As the cartoon goes on, You fall in love with Wally.

In fact, we even infuse a little love story into it.

And so he decides to give her a gift, a plant.

Once he does that though, now she knows there's life on Earth.

And so now it's time for her to go back to this spaceship where the humans are.

Let's take a look at what the humans in the spaceship look like.

Perfect temperature, like here in Southern California.

They are sitting in a device called a hover chair.

The hover chair has made the need to get up obsolete.
