The Godhead- Part 2

Isn't it wonderful, the time that we live in?

Good to be here in Ohio, good to be with God's people.

God's given you a special message to give to the world.

That's always the heart of the message that God wants us to give, that He's coming soon and we need to be prepared.

The unprepared's not going to go to heaven.

A lot of things I may say will be blunt and to the point.

But when I'm talking to somebody, I want them to get down to the point.

By God's grace, right, we want to fulfill what God has in His Word.

There's been too much of mixing and padding and sugar coating and so on and so forth, as you well know.

We talked about the Godhead yesterday, our first part.

And we'll try to condense today because of time.

And If you have pencil and paper, you may want to take down some references, you may want to take down some scriptures, because there will be many that we will cover.

And I cannot just take time to look up every 1 or wait till we get it, and I know that's kind of frustrating at times, and I don't mean to be.

But if we're going to cover some things that are heavy-duty important, you need to look these up yourself if you have not and read them for yourselves and see whether it's truth or not how do you know if I'm telling you the truth or not how do you know Bible says studied it right show yourself approved unto God in there I work when that neither not be shame rightly dividing the Word of God So I invite you to jot these down.

If you missed yesterday, we simply discussed that God is leading a people, isn't he?

He's wanting to see what is in each of our hearts.

So tests come to see whether we really love Him or we're just, oh, I almost said windbags.

In the church, there's a lot of talkers in the church.

There's a lot of people who mean well but God's looking what the Bible said for doers of the word and not what?

This is where we're at in the history of this world that we need to realize the time that we have pastors who are in the pulpit need to realize the urgency of the hour.

It's not when the next social is going to be, it's not when the next party is going to be, when the next holiday is going to be, so what?

You know, think about all those things that may be not bad within themselves but we get wrapped up in them.

So God is throwing out some things to us, new things approach us.

We talked about yesterday some kind people call it new light.

You remember somebody ever come up to you and say I've got some new light I want you to hear and then they'll say something like your salvation depends upon it.

Well it depends upon certain knowing what truth is and following that truth but we need to be very careful about that because you know we realize that new people people are going to show up you know the theological questions and they're going to get into theology and some teachings and they're going to get in some kind of doctoring, doctrines.

We know the Bible said they'll be on the rise in these last days so we have to test everything that's why I said you test what I'm talking about here with the scripture.

The old teachings we realize, old theories are going to be opened up.

God's allowing these things to come in among us so that we will study for ourself.

If you were never challenged, I've had people who call us in and say, you just make me mad when you get on the air.

They sat in the pew for too long doing nothing.

But now it stirred them up to say, well I'm going to check this out.

I'll tell you, you've just already got me.

Get into the hearts and the minds by the Holy Spirit to prompt us into action here in these last days.

A lie, We spent all time almost yesterday on many will receive a lie rather than the truth.

They love gossip more than they love the truth.

Gossip spreads faster in the church than the truth does.

I'm telling you the truth, you know that.

It is the truth and we need to be aware of those issues, sidestep those things and move on doing what we're supposed to do.

You say, well how could they do this because you know we should know what truth is, remember?

We talked about they received a lie rather than the truth, did they not?

They believed that lie even though they had all the evidence that they needed, they understand, they seen God, they walk with Him, they talk with Him.

Still yet, they were fooled, and we think that maybe we're beyond being fooled.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will always open my eyes that I may see, hear, and understand church.

And I'll tell you this, changes I need to make, I want to make them.

But I'm not understanding a subject right, I want to learn to understand that subject.

Truth, you see, is what changes the heart and the life, not believing a lie.

God had issued, at least in the beginning, we discussed this in a little bit depth in Adventist history, especially in the 1840s and so on and so forth.

Many, many who are coming into the church, many different denominations, you remember us talking about it?

The Aryan belief and that's a heresy, we do know that.

That's not the truth, we understand that.

They believe that there was a time when Christ was not, that teaching.

They believe that there was a, He was the first of all created beings.

And they also, Listen to this carefully, this fits.

They also believe, they denied the deity of the Holy Spirit.

Some of the advocates of there is no Holy Spirit and they say, well, we don't believe in the area, but they're taking that and bringing it in because they're advocating some of these things so we have to be very very careful most change their position we realize after Ellen White began to write some different books and and came up with what the Lord had revealed to her on it.

They loved the truth, they loved the movement enough to what?

They were willing to lay aside and accept what they understood was truth.

We need to realize, we talked about quickly, as we talk about God, we talk about Christ and certainly tomorrow really the Holy Spirit.
