Lift up the trumpet and loud let it ring, Jesus is coming again.

Cheer up you pilgrims, be joyful and sing, Jesus is coming again.

This is the voice of prophecy, a voice crying in the wilderness of these modern days.

Coming again, coming again, Jesus is coming again.

Once my way was dark and dreary, for my heart was full of sin.

But the sky is bright and cheery, since the fullness of his love came in.

For it passeth human measure, like a deep unfathomed sea, Lives redeeming, loving Christ my Savior.

In my soul the heavenly joys begin, And I live for Jesus only, Since the fullness of his love came in.

Let me spread abroad the story, other souls to Jesus win.

For the cross is now my glory, Since the fullness of his love came in, I can never tell how much I love him.

I can never tell his love for me, For it passeth human measure, like a deep unfathomed sea.

This redeeming love in Christ my Savior, In my soul the heavenly joys begin, And I live for Jesus only, Since the fullness of his love came in.

Our Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for Thy mercies we thank thee for Jesus bless this broadcast to all our listeners we ask in his name O Jesus, blessed Redeemer!

O Jesus, blessed Redeemer, sent from the heart of God, Hold us who bow before Thee, near to the heart of God.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.

He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

I will fear no evil for thou art with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

Thou anointest my Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.

Truly goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and evermore.

And now, Del Delker brings us a fine old song about heaven.

There's a beautiful land on high To its glories I fain would When by sorrows pressed down I long for a crown in that beautiful land on high.

Oh, there's a Beautiful land on high, and though here I oft weep and sigh, My Jesus hath said that no tear shall be shed in that beautiful land on high.

In that beautiful land I'll be From earth and its cares set free.

My Jesus is there, he has gone to prepare.

He has gone to prepare a place in that land for me.

Here now is HMS Richards, The Voice of Prophecy Speaker.

His subject, The Man with the Broken Chain.

News reports tell of a Detroit psychiatrist who himself was in need of mental and spiritual reconditioning.

At a nightclub 1 evening he asked a porter to find him a killer.

This porter instead went to the police, and the police themselves appointed a man to act the part of a gunman, and he was to appear at the office of the psychiatrist and do the criminal deed.

He received 50 dollars advance payment and was to receive 450 more when the job was done.

Of course, the police covered the place of meeting with concealed cameras.

But when all arrangements had been made, the doctor changed his mind.

He decided that he did not want to die after all and refused to make the fatal office call.

Strange to say, he may now be charged with conspiracy to commit murder and face a five-year prison term.

The psychiatrist later confessed, I was despondent when I arranged the plot.

I felt that I had nothing to live for, but I changed my mind and kept away from my office.

Psychiatrists are supposed to know about all there is to know concerning the human mind and its actions, but it seems that life is so complex today that even some psychiatrists find it too much for them.

Men of this important profession as well as others need the salvation that is in Jesus Christ.

They need to respond to the gospel invitation, Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.

Specialists in the workings and the troubles of the human mind find that they themselves need spiritual rejuvenation.

Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again according to the Scriptures, can give and does give rest—rest to the soul—because he grants forgiveness of sins to all those who believe.

He also tells us that we are not to let our hearts be troubled, not to worry, because we believe in God and in Jesus as our Redeemer, in another fuller life after this, and in the final rehabilitation of this world at Christ's Second Coming.

He says, Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

Luke 18.1 The Bible says that we are to be over-anxious or worried over nothing.

But in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4.

In the Holy Scriptures there is a story of a man with a broken chain—a man who illustrates the wonderful power of deliverance that comes through faith in Jesus.

This story is told 3 times in the Bible—in Matthew 8, Mark 5, Luke 8.

Each writer gives details not mentioned by the others.

The day preceding the experience related, Jesus had delivered the sermon by the sea.

On the night which followed, he stilled the storm.

He and the disciples went to the eastern, less inhabited shore of the Sea of Galilee for a rest.

And as soon as their boat had grated on the gravelly shore, immediately they met him out of the tombs, a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs, and no man could bind him, no, not with chains.

This maniac had often been bound with handcuffs on his wrists, fetters on his feet, but he had torn them to pieces.

We can imagine him with these broken chains dangling from his wrists.

And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones.

The Scripture says he was possessed with devils.

For when Jesus asked his name, the name of the demon power, the reply was, My name is Legion, for we are many.

Matthew says that the man was possessed, completely under the power of evil.

The spirit was an unclean spirit, just how we are not told.

But we know that according to the Jewish Levitical law, a corpse was unclean.

That's Leviticus, the twenty-first chapter.

And this uncleanness, of course, would attach also to the place of burial.

And this man and his companion, for there were 2 of them, lived in the desolate tombs.

Many of these tombs are still visible along this part of the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee.

The road along the eastern side of the sea evidently was unusable because of the fierceness of these possessed men.
