The Rise of Babylon, the End of Time and Your Salvation

And if it's not everything, then we have nothing.

The events of recent history and the events that are seemingly presented to us day by day are an indication we are in fact living in the end of time.

Just to highlight a few, shortly after midnight on March the 13th, 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky, police using a battering ram entered the apartment of Breonna Taylor and Kenneth Walker as part of a drug investigation, and while the details differ according to various news sources.

Kenneth Walker, believing someone was breaking into his house, fired a shot that injured a police officer.

And the police, in return fire, fired 20 shots into the home, 5 of them hitting and killing Breonna Taylor.

Riots and protests broke out against the injustice served at that time.

And just when things in Louisville were calming, The grand jury returned 0 indictments in the 3 officers involved in her death.

Once again riots and protesting broke out.

The images seen make 1 wonder what is happening to America.

The recent death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the mourning that should have followed has been overshadowed by the fight over the appointment of her successor, arguments over constitutional duties, the threat of the Speaker of the House to impeach the president if he appoints.

The war of words, the attacks on potential appointees before they're even named leaves 1 wondering, what is happening to America?

And then the news releases of this past week, a presidential candidate's son shady dealings with foreign entities, bias in the Russian inquiry and investigation, and the list goes on and on and on and it leaves 1 wondering what is happening to America.

And today, Right now, on September the 26th, 2020, in a gathering on the National Mall in our nation's capital, there are a group of powerful evangelical leaders seeking to provide that answer.

Let's watch a video clip to see what's happening right now.

We are standing at a pivotal moment in American history and world history.

A moment that can permanently seal our nation's course and the course of the world for good, for bad, for calamity, for redemption.

America and much of Western civilization was founded on a biblical foundation stone, but it's turned away from that foundation.

We have not only driven God out of our public life and have called what is good evil and what is sin good.

But we have sacrificed the lives of over 60 million unborn children.

And America's fall from God is not only progressing, it's accelerating to the point that it's no longer just a falling away, but a war against the purposes of God.

I wrote in the harbinger of the signs of judgment that appeared in the last days of ancient Israel, warning of calamity, that these same signs of warning have now appeared on American soil.

The biblical template concerning judgment is that the nation so warned is given a space of time to return or to head for judgment and calamity.

Since the time of 9-11, I've been calling for return, for repentance, for revival, not only as individuals, but as a nation, according to 2 Chronicles 7-14.

At the same time, a faithful man of God, Kevin Jessup, has for years carried the burden of a sacred assembly for that same purpose of restoration.

Therefore, this is the announcing of the return, The National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance.

It will be a day and more than a day, a time and a season for the movement for prayer, repentance, return and revival.

The central day will be Saturday, September 26th in a sacred assembly according to what is laid forth in Scripture to take place in our nation's capital on the Washington Mall.

While I resonate with the sentiments of Jonathan Cahn, I have a great fear, my brothers and sisters, that we may be in fact witnessing the beginnings of a false revival that will not lead to the genuine faith outlined in Scripture but rather a movement of legislation of faith and morality that will see the ushering in of the final events of the book of Revelation.

This gathering, the return is happening today.

And according to the organizers, it's happening with absolute planning.

40 days, exactly 40 days prior to the presidential election.

4 hundredth anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower.

And it is today the biblical day of atonement in the Jewish calendar.

While you may not have heard the name of Jonathan Cahn, you probably have heard the names of many of the leaders that have planned, organized, and are speaking at this event.

Anne Graham-Lotz, Billy Graham's daughter.

Pat Robertson, the founder of the 700 Club.

Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King.

Former presidential candidate, Michelle Bachman.

Actor Kevin Sorbo and many others are joining together for this call for unity.

It is a grand collection of political, business, and religious leaders.

And it cannot be estimated the political ties that exist.

1 of the speakers, Michael Lindell, made famous of the MyPillow founder, has said this, Trump was chosen by God.

Let me be very clear in the things that I will be stating.

None of what I'm saying is a political statement.

Stephen Strang, the founder and publisher of Charisma Magazine, the leading charismatic and Pentecostal media outlet, also an organizer, wrote a book, God and Donald Trump.

He is a pastor and rabbi of the Jerusalem Center Beth Israel in Wayne, New Jersey.

He is proclaimed by many to be a prophet with messages for the end time.

He predicted the outcome of the 2016 election and he has prognosticated the results of 2020.

In his book, The Paradigm, he compares Donald Trump to the ancient king of Israel, Jehu, who led Israel away from the idolatry that they were practicing.

Trump is offering us a window for revival, a window to return to God.

What happened in the election was not about Trump, but something much higher, the purposes of God.

He joins a cast of individuals who have even referred to Donald Trump as the modern day Cyrus.

In fact, a mint in Israel minted a coin with the face of Cyrus and Donald Trump on it.

I am not making any sort of political assertions here today.

I am simply pointing out the importance of our opening our eyes to what's going on right now in our own backyard.

And once again I will state while Pastor Kahn and his leadership may have the best of intentions, I believe we are seeing right before our very eyes in the nationals capital, in the nation's capital, the stirrings of the last day coalition of a religio-political power that looks like a lamb, but speaks Like a dragon.

Could it be that Satan in his most grand master deception has all eyes focused on who we will support in this current political battle, which side will we be on?

Will we be on the side of peaceful protest?

And in a brilliant stroke of polarizing deception, We have missed his stealthy attack and the undercurrency he is creating.

Let us pray as we open God's word to see his answer.

Heavenly Father, we can't understand anything without the presence of your Holy Spirit.

And we believe your Holy Spirit is here and has been here through prayer, through singing.

And now Lord, as we open your word, we understand and know that your word is powerful and it is a two-edged sword.

And may we understand that now is the time, not tomorrow, not next week, not a year from now, Now is the time to get very serious about what you've been serious about from eternity past.

If you have your Bibles with you, I'd invite you to open to Revelation, the 13th chapter.

Today we will be going over a number of things as we look at the end of time, as we look at this rise of Babylon, the end of time, and your salvation.

My prayer today, my dear friends, is that this is not just another piece of information that we file away in our prophecy notebook, but that we would make personal application that dramatically changes how we live.

Of course, you know Revelation 13 is the rise of the 2 friends of Satan, the sea beast and the land beast.

In verse 11, reading from verse 11 to 17, then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth and he had 2 horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon and he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and he causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, and the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, that no 1 may buy or sell except 1 who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name." While this is not an intense or rather an extensive study on this power, many of us are familiar.

This power has long been identified through the historic interpretation of scripture that this land-like beast is in fact the power known today as the United States of America.

It was a power founded on lamb- like principles, the principles of religious freedom, the principles of a free democratic republic.

Yet it would begin its swing from lamb-like stature to dragon-tongued speaking very early in its history.

Very early on, many of the colonies formed religious laws that enforced religious practice.
