02 Prophecy’s Final World Superpower

I want to have a word of prayer with you before we start.

If you will, let's bow our heads and pray.

Heavenly Father, as we start our study tonight, we would like to invite your presence here and we want to feel the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon us and to guide us through these studies.

We want to understand more Bible prophecy and about what's happening and what's going to take place in the world and most important how to be ready in a saving relationship with you.

For we pray in Jesus' name, let everyone say, amen.

I wanna start by remind you of a story that took place more than 100 years ago in April 12, 1912.

You'll probably remember if you see the picture there somehow it's not changing the picture do you know why John okay so but I'll tell you the story and hope it will catch up with us here but say it again no actually we have the ship the largest ship of that time was going to the first voyage and that was, what was the name of the ship everyone?

It was filled with more than 2, 000 people, more than 2, 200 people was on board of the Titanic.

They were going from England and crossing the Atlantic Ocean, going all the way to the United States, more specifically to the state of New York.

A lot of rich people were on board as well, important people of the time, and it was known at the time that the Titanic was unsinkable, and there were rumors, people would say things like even God cannot sink the Titanic.

Okay, so they went in their voyage after 3 days crossing the Atlantic oceans.

You know, the first warning, the first what everyone?

Warning came to the ship crew saying, iceberg ahead.

The first warning came early in the morning, it was 09:00, it was completely ignored.

It didn't come to the captain of the ship.

And then the second warning came in the afternoon.

It was already like 01:00 in the afternoon, 1.30 somewhere there.

The second 1 was written down, given to the captain.

The captain saw the warning, but the captain decided to ignore it.

What did he decide to do with the warning?

Ignore the warning and he believed also that that ship was strong enough to face the Atlantic Ocean, to face all the icebergs and cross the ocean all the way to New York and he ignored the warning.

But the warnings continued to come, the warnings continued to what everyone?

To come, but they were ignored and ignored until 09:00 09:00 finally some of the crew members they saw this white iceberg right ahead of them and they screamed and they called the captain and they tried to reverse, they tried to stop but it was too late it was what everyone?

The warnings had been ignored and now that they wanted to stop the ship, it was just too late to do that.

And then they crashed, you know, they had a collision with this iceberg.

And then when they went to assess the damage, they saw 300 feet damage on the right side of the Titanic.

The water was just coming so fast that the water pumps could not take the water out.

And then finally, the captain decided to lower all the life-saving boats and they realized they only had life-saving boats for 1, 100 people and they had like more than 2, 000 people on board.

But some people, even though they had the opportunity to get in, in 1 of those boats, they decided not to get in because they had been told that the Titanic was unsinkable.

There is a major lesson there for us and that is that the warnings had been given, but the warnings had been what everyone?

And friends, God has given warnings concerning what's going to take place with this world this world is actually heading to a collision to an end and prophecy is very clear about that and there are warnings after warnings in scriptures there are signs of the times that we saw yesterday 1 of the other they are increasing in intensity and in frequency but people many people and I'm glad it's not you 1 of them but many people are ignoring the warnings.

And we must not ignore the warnings because if we keep ignoring the warnings, it's going to be just like what happened with the people in the Titanic.

And that's why we are here, friends, because we want to understand what the Bible says about the end of the world and what's going to take place in the last days.

We want to be up to date with good understanding of the Scripture so we can be ready.

In fact, my friends, it's not only the Bible that is talking about the end of the world.

Scientists today are also talking about the end of the world.

They are talking about, they call the doomsday clock.

Like a scientist such as, how many of you are familiar with Stephen Hawking?

Very famous scientist, I want you to see what he wrote, he already passed.

In recent years, he wrote the following, It is important for the human race to spread out into where, everyone?

Life on Earth is at the ever increasing risk of being wiped out by natural disaster, nuclear war, genetically engineered virus or other dangers we have not yet thought of.

And then he goes on to say we won't find anywhere as nice as Earth unless we go to another star system, another galax.

Okay, so you see that the scientists they are also concerned about the end of the world.

But we know, we learned from Bible prophecy that the world will not end because of human intervention.

No, it will end, it will reach a climax with the second coming of Jesus.

Promise after promise in scriptures that Jesus is coming again and we must be ready for that.

Now just a quick review here of what we studied yesterday in the book of Isaiah the prophet Isaiah in the Old Testament he you know the prophet write on behalf of God the following words where God says I am God and I'm gonna tell you or prove you why I'm God.

And I want you to read that with me right over here.

If you have your Bibles, you are welcome to go there.

In Isaiah 46, verse 9, Remember the former things of old, for I am who?

And then he tells why he is God and there is no other like him.

And from ancient times all the way in the past things that are not yet done the way I'm gonna prove you that I'm God and I'm trustworthy you can trust in what I say is that I'm going to start declaring what's going to happen in the future.

And then once we study Bible prophecy, everything that God has spoken about the future, and we study, we see the fulfillment, we will say, we can trust in the Word of God.

And that's why we can trust not only in the prophecies of the Bible, but we can trust in the whole Bible because God, through His Word, through His prophet, He can declare the things that has not yet happened.

And my friends, there are several Bible prophecies that have been fulfilled.

Tonight we are going to study 1 of them and the complete fulfillment has not yet happened, but I'll say 9 5 percent has already happened.

We still need another 5% of the prophecy to happen.

We saw that the book of Revelation, what book did I say everyone?

Revelation, yesterday's 1 of these books that prepare people in the world for the end of the world.

Jesus says in Revelation 117, Do not be what, everyone?

In other words, I'm going to be with you all the way through from the beginning to the end.

In Revelation 22, if you'd like to open up your Bibles there, you're welcome to go there.

Revelation chapter 22, all the way to the last chapter of the book of Revelation.

In Revelation chapter 22, we're going to read verse 7, the Bible says there, behold, that's Jesus speaking through the prophet John, behold I am, what is the next word everyone?

Coming quickly, Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

We want to study, we want to read so we can observe, implement in our life.

It becomes our lifestyle so we can be ready for the coming of Jesus.

Okay, so but you find Okay, the blessing yes in chapter 1 verse 3 very good.

You find a promise of a blessing there as well.

But I want to remind you just quickly here of the words that Jesus spoke in Matthew 24, verse 15.

03 Jesus’ Answer to Evil

Let's let's bow our heads and have a word of prayer Heavenly Father we are thankful for another opportunity we have to study a word that we are also grateful for the friendship that we are developing with 1 another and Father As we break the bread of life tonight, we pray for the Holy Spirit.

We pray that we will be more ready than we were when we first came tonight.

We want to live with you and to be with you forever.

For that, we pray for your blessing tonight.

We also pray for the computer, for the projection, that you may help in that regard as well for we pray in Jesus name let everyone say amen when we look the earth from the top is so beautiful but when we come down friends, when we come down we come to the reality that there is suffering every single day in this earth.

It might not be in our lives but it's in somebody else's life.

I just came from funeral you know an hour ago and this is happening all over the world that we see scenes such as this this little boy just not understanding what's happening with his mom and that we cannot forget that this is reality that is happening every day yet the Bible says in the most famous verse of the Bible John chapter 3 verse 16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not what perish but have everlasting life is hard to reconcile you know the world is in chaos the way it is many things are happening in the world a lot of suffering yet the Bible says that God so loved the world it's harder to understand how does that work if God is all powerful and if he is all loving why doesn't he stop all the suffering that is in the world and friends this is important for us to understand if we really want to understand the issues in the controversy between Christ and Satan, we need to understand more about the character of God as well as the character of Satan because the central issue in the last days is worship.

The central issue in the last days is what everyone?

So, and we cannot worship someone that we cannot love.

Now let me take you to another slide over here.

Notice here the question, if God is so good, why is the world what?

This is the kind of questions that people are asking right there, especially those who are not Christians.

They are asking Christians, you say that your God is a loving God, that the Bible says that God so loved the world, but how about, you know, the chaotic things that we see in this world?

So much suffering and the Bible continues to assure us that he is love this is Jeremiah actually the book of Jeremiah chapter 31 verse 3 says I have done what I have what loved you with what kind of love?

Therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

If any of us here have given our lives to Christ it's because He has drawn us with what everybody?

He has not demanded worship from us, He has not forced us to worship, but He has drawn us with love.

It's hard, but we must wrestle with these questions and try to find a biblical answer for them.

The truth is that prophecy reveals a struggle between 2 powers.

And I want to take you all the way to the book of Revelation.

That's 1 of the key books we're studying in our series.

And it's so important this topic that the book of Revelation raises the whole issue and help us to understand taking out the curtain, you know, taking out what did I say everyone?

The curtain which separates the visible from the invisible world so we can understand what's going on behind the scenes.

I want to read with you Revelation 12 and we're going to read from verse 7 to verse 8.

So the Bible says here, Notice very carefully, of all places the Bible says, "...and war broke out..." where everyone?

Then the Bible says Michael and his what?

Angels fought with the dragon and by the way that's Satan we're going to see as we continue to read and the dragon and who was in the sight of the dragon he's angels fought and then the next verse says but they those are the dragon and the angels that sided with the dragon and they did not prevail nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

So the dragon was cast out, that serpent, who is the dragon?

That serpent of old, called the devil and Satan.

Friends, the Bible is very clear that of all places there was a war in heaven and that world was between Michael and his angels and the dragon or Satan and his angels and we're going to understand more about that and let me say this for you and I welcome if you have a question about that we can answer tomorrow during the questions and answers you know Michael the Bible says that he is an archangel.

That's found in 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 16.

Archangel means the chief of the angels, the commander of the angels.

If you understand that Michael is an angel, he is the chief of the angels.

That's a correct answer, but we must go deeper.

The name of Michael means, who is like God.

You just go to the Hebrew language and you look it up in the concordance and you will see that Michael means who is like God and we know who is like God.

Okay so Michael is Jesus Christ in the form of angel manifesting himself as an angel to the angels to be the chief of the angels.

Just like when he came to the planet Earth, how did he come?

How did Jesus Christ came to this planet?

As a human being, he became a baby, he grew up, he was a man as a human being.

So Jesus Christ is the express image of the God the Father and he expressed himself in the same level of his intelligent beings.

So to the human family he comes as a human being, To the angelic family he comes as an angel.

And I can, if you have any question about that, I can answer more about Michael tomorrow.

But we have in 1 side Jesus Christ with his angel then we have Satan with his angels I want to read this slide for you very quickly here Lucifer that's the other name for the devil deceived how many of the angels One-third of the angels and was cast out of heaven with them.

And I told you it must be biblical answers here tonight.

How do we know that Satan actually deceived one-third of the angels of heaven?

Notice what it says in chapter 12 in your Bibles, the same book Revelation chapter 12 and we're going to read verse 4 right in the middle of the verses talking about this dragon which is the old serpent, the devil.

Revelation 12 verse 4 in the middle of the verse the Bible says here, He is what everyone?

Stars of heaven and drew them to the earth.

And you say, oh preacher, you're stretching the text.

Here it says that he drew a third of the what of heaven.

But if you let the Bible interpret itself, you will see like in Revelation 1 verse 20, verses such as this, the 7 stars are the 7 what everyone?

No question it's talking about a different thing, but it's showing that in Bible prophecy a star is a symbol of a what everyone?

So when the Bible says that the dragon with his tail drew one-third of the stars of heaven means that he drew one-third of the angels of heaven.

But it says that he used what part of his body to...

04 Prophecy’s Final Judgment Hour

Before we start, I'd like to invite you, if you will, to bow your heads with me as we ask the Lord to bless our meeting tonight.

Father in Heaven, as we are about to open the word, we ask for the Holy Spirit to be poured upon us and to enlighten our understanding and we pray we claim the promise that when he comes he will lead us into all truth for we pray in Jesus name let everyone say amen so let's go on here in our message Tonight we're going to be studying about what we call the 3 angels messages.

I invite you to turn your Bibles with me to the book of Revelation if you will.

The last book of the Bible and we are going to Revelation chapter 14 and there we find what is known as the 3 angels messages.

Yes, the 3 angels messages and we're going to see what what these messages are all about And it will be fascinating here.

So Revelation chapter 14, we will see that this message is a message for the whole world.

In other words, this message is a message for us.

And this message is a message that will be proclaimed before the end of all things.

And we learned that Jesus is coming soon, right?

So you remember our study, we are right here in the feet, actually right in the nails of the image of the book of Nazareth.

And the next is the everlasting kingdom that Jesus will usher in so this message will be proclaimed before Jesus comes and I'm going to show you how I know that here in the book of Revelation chapter 14 But I want you to see in verse 6, if you follow with me, verse 6, it shows that it's a message for the whole world.

The Bible says, Then I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on...

But what about I'm not a nation, I'm just a tribe.

And then the message says there very clearly fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment has come.

I want you to see with me that this message is proclaimed 3 angels messages.

Okay so you have the first angel's messages on verse 7.

You have the second angel's message on verse 8.

And then in verse 9 through 12, you have the third angel's messages.

And then I want you to see what takes place in your Bible right after the proclamation of the first, the second, and the third angels' message.

Notice what the Bible says in Revelation 14 and verse 14.

Revelation 14, verse 14, the Bible says here, Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat 1 like the Son of Man.

It's Jesus Christ, having on His head a what, everyone?

He will come as a king in the clouds of heaven and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Verse 15 and another angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud thrust in your sickle and we for the time has come for you to reap for the harvest of the earth is what everyone?

Okay and that's exactly what he what he did.

What event is this that Jesus Christ will come in the clouds of heaven with a crown implying that he will come as a king in order to harvest the harvest of the earth?

Those that have matured their their religious experience, their character.

We already studied about that, but I want you to see that you have the proclamation of the 3 angels' messages to the whole world, every tribe, and then after that we have what the second coming of Jesus is that clear if you want so this message the 3 angels messages is a message for the time of the end notice the first angels messages in your Bible in verse 7 what it says there.

First word there, verse 7, fear God and what?

Give glory to Him for the hour of His judgment has come.

You can stay with your Bible right there unless you really want to go to the next verse I'm gonna take you but in Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 6 help us to understand what it means to fear God yes it means to reverence God yes it means to have respect to God and worship him but notice what it says here in Deuteronomy 8 verse 6 therefore you shall do what everyone keep the commandments of the Lord your God to walk in his ways and to what?

So how do we fear God according to this verse?

Ok, a life of obedience is a life of 1 who fears God.

Now, what does it mean to give glory to God?

So, in 1 Corinthians 10, 31, you don't need to go there, I have in the slide, unless you want, and you're welcome to keep me accountable as I have been telling you.

But in 1 Corinthians 10, 31, the Bible says, but in 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verse 31 the Bible says therefore whether you what is the next word everyone eat or drink or whatever you do do all to the to the glory of God How do we give glory to God?

No, it says whether we eat, whether we drink, whatever we do in our life, our lifestyle must give glory to God.

I put there the Toronto, but it should be 1 Corinthians 10, verse 31.

But a message of fear God and give glory to him it's a message calling people to yield obedience to God and also to glorify him through our lifestyle the way we live our lives is a life that gives glory to God are we together everyone so that's a message that will go to the whole world and then it says there if you remember it says fear God revelation 14 verse 7 if you're still there in your Bibles, fear God and give glory to Him for the hour of His what is come.

Friends, that's an important part of the message.

We see that before Jesus comes, before Jesus what everyone?

There will be a message saying that the hour of his judgment has already what?

Therefore we must expect that God's judgment will start before he comes in the clouds of heaven.

The book of Revelation as well as the book of Daniel.

Those 2 books help us to understand very clearly about God's judgment and we're going to explore those books tonight.

But the final judgment, Revelation gives the what?

When and where the judgment takes place, Jesus gives the assurance for us.

Fear God and give glory to him for the hour his judgment has come and that's prior to the second coming of Jesus, but Jesus is the 1 who gives us confidence to go through the judgment.

I want to take you to Revelation 20, the same book, Revelation 20, before we go to the book of Daniel.

Revelation chapter 20 help us to understand more about the scenery of the judgment.

It talks about books there and I want you to see that.

The Bible says in Revelation 20 verse 12, Revelation 20 verse 12, notice what it says here clearly.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God.

And another book was open, which is the book of life.

So we see this imagery of books open okay and then it says here and the dead were what is next word everyone judged according to their works by the things which were written in the in the books Can you see here tonight friends that these judgments include books and we're going to be judged based on what is written in the books.

So let me read this statement with you why there should be a judgment friends notice what it says here in the slide the rebellion in heaven we saw yesterday that Lucifer he rebelled against the government of God he wasn't happy with the government of God and he he cast doubts upon the character of God, the rebellion in heaven introduced a question into the universe about God's what everyone?

Character, His fairness and His integrity.

Therefore the judgment clarifies God's what everyone?

05 Jesus on the Anti-Christ

That's what we're going to do tonight we're going to give you 10 characteristics of the antichrist and we are going to be able to identify without having to guess so let's turn our bibles to revelation chapter 13 and as you turn there I'm going to invite you to pray with me.

So Revelation chapter 13, where we find a beast, and we will see what that means in a little bit.

So as you're turning there, if you will, I invite you to bow your heads with me for a word of prayer.

Father in heaven, again we come before your presence.

Our hearts are filled with desire to know the truth of the Bible, especially what the book of Daniel and Revelation has to say about the last days.

And Father tonight we pray for again the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Give us understanding in light of our minds and Father if our hearts are cut.

Give us the assurance that you want what is best for us, that you love us, and you care for us, and you desire to heal us, and not to humiliate or defeat us.
