The Mark of the Beast is Not Sunday Worship

Holy Father, our Father God in heaven, Father we thank you for another day of life and breath.

We thank you Lord for a heart that beats and air that breathes in our lungs.

And so Father in spite of myself may I be a blessing not a curse your people.

I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit, that your people be blessed by the preaching of this word.

May we be earnest in knowing your character and knowing you by taking time to behold your beautiful image and your face so that we could stand firm in these last days.

We thank you, Lord, providing every provision for us to be saved.

May we accept it and share it, this we pray.

So for Sabbath school, it is my understanding that we are studying the 3 angels' messages.

I breathe that message and I preach that message.

And for the last few years, I've been always meditating about our end-time gospel message, And God has given me a paradigm shift on how to approach the 3 angels message.

Because oftentimes we present it in a certain way and it's different from what the Bible and the spirit of prophecy says.

We are human, and we make mistakes, and we look and we read, and our reading comprehension is in different levels, but when experience happens, and when life experience happens, and when things happen, you see things from a different lens.

So that's why our antennas should be attuned to everyday life to see what God is seeking to teach for you and I.

Now, Inspiration says about the 3 Angels' Messages, Notice what Gospel Workers, page 156, paragraph 2 says, Inspiration says this, of all professing Christians, Seventh-day Adventist should be foremost in uplifting Christ before the world.

The proclamation of the third angel's message calls for the presentation of the Sabbath truth.

This truth, with others, including the message, is to be proclaimed, but the great center of attraction is who?

It is at the cross of Christ that mercy and truth meet together, righteousness and peace kiss each other.

The sinner must be led to look to Calvary with the simple faith of a little child, he must trust in the merits of the Savior, accepting his righteousness, believing in his mercy.

Because the third angel's message says this, Revelation 14, verse 9-11.

Notice what the Bible says, And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If Any man worship the beast and his image and receive his mark in his forehand or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone.

In the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the lamb and the smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest day or night who worship the beast and his image and whoso received the mark of his name now if we present this text in of itself to a non Adventist how would they view God, let's be honest?

That Christ is the great center of attraction.

So how is Calvary connected with the wrath of God without mixture?

How do we reconcile a loving God with a judgment that pours out the wrath of God without mixture.

And so, this text says this, if any man worship the beast in his image, receives his mark and his forehand on his hand, the same shall drink the wine of the wrath of God.

So the question we must ask is, what does the beast do that worshipping him makes God so angry?

Now, if you want to know how to study the Bible, you ask questions.

So go from text to text and link by link and so if you're confused you go to the Bible and find the other text that answers the question.

So the question is, What does the beast do that worshiping him makes God angry?

So we're gonna go to Revelation 13, verse 2.

Notice what the Bible says in Revelation 13, verse 2.

We're identifying what the beast does that makes God so angry.

The Bible says this, and the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard and his feet were as the feet of a bear and his mouth is a mouth of a lion and the dragon gave him his power and his seat and great authority.

So the beast power and authority comes from who?

Now the question is what does the dragon do?

We're trying to figure out answers to these questions of why God pours out his judgment to those who worship the beast in his image.

Notice what the Bible says in Revelation 12, verse 17.

The Bible says this, and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of his seed, which keeps the commandments of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ.

So the dragon uses the beast to declare war upon who?

God's people, who keeps the commands of God and the testimony of Jesus.

So those who worship the beast in his image support the war against God's people who keeps the commands of God and the testimony of Jesus.

That's what makes the mark of the beast the mark of the beast.

So they make the war with the remnant who keeps the command of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

The dragon uses the beast to make war with God's people.

Notice the Bible says in Revelation chapter 13 verse 6 and 7, the Bible says this, and he opened his mouth and blasphemed against God to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle and them that dwell in heaven and it was given unto him to make what with the Saints?

The Saints and to overcome them and what was given to him?

Power was given unto all kindreds and tongues and nations." So this beast makes war with the saints that keep the commands of God and the testimony of Jesus and he has power or he dominates or he forces all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people.

So we're seeing here what the beast is really like and the worshiping in the beast.

Notice the Bible says in Revelation 13 verse 11, thou set up an image to this first beast.

Notice what the Bible says in Revelation 13 verse 11.

Revelation 13 verse 11, the Bible says this, Now beheld another beast coming out of the earth, and he had 2 horns like a lamb, and he spake as a?

God's people that keeps the commands of God and the?

And he exercises all the power of the what?

Declare war on the Saints, is that correct?

Before him and causes or forces the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed.

So the lamb-like beast is propagating and continuing the war against God's people.

And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of these miracles, which have power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword and did live.

And so the image of the beast is connected to, you must worship the image of the beast or else you will die.

In other words, the Mark of the Beast, the Mark of the Beast, and worshiping the Beast, the worship of the Beast is forced worship, it's not Sunday worship, it's forced Sunday worship.
