False Leaders

Heavenly Father, we come to you at this moment to thank you so much for your Word.

Thank you that your Word is still alive and is still the truth.

As we open your word, open our hearts and our minds, and let your word be clear in us.

The 1 who's speaking right now is not even worthy to pronounce a word, but please use him this morning.

Remove his sin, everything, and even self, so that you can appear and speak to the heart.

By the way, the papers that I gave you is some quotes from Spirit of Prophecy.

When you see SOPs, counsel to leaders, it's the spirit of prophecy.

And you will see that it's not only about false leaders, but counsel, more counsel to leaders for those who want to be in leadership and how to get more and more consecrated to God.

And when the people saw that Moses, verse 1, delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron and said unto him, Up, make us guards, which shall go before us.

For as this Moses, the man that brought us up out of Egypt, of the land of Egypt, We would not what is become of him.

And Aaron said unto them, break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

And all the people break off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool.

After he made it a molten calf, and they said, these be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt." What's going on in these verses that we just read?

These verses, we know that the people of Israel just came out of Egypt.

They went through the Red Sea, and in chapter 20, we saw that God gave them the 10 Commandments.

But in this particular verse and chapter, we see that there is a problem, that the people came to Aaron and asked him for God to go before them.

Now, why were they asking for God to go before them?

But the verse, The first verse says that we don't know what's going on with Moses.

Because it's been so long he went, and until now we don't know what's going on.

And some scholars says that it was on the, we know that Moses stayed on the mount for 40 days.

And this happened, what happened in chapter 32, happens on the 39th day before the 40th.

Now, Do they really don't know about Moses?

Or did Moses didn't say anything where he was going, what he's going to do, and what he will do?

And the Lord said unto Moses, come up to me in the mount and be there, and I will give thee tables of stone and a law and commandments which I have written that thou mayest teach them.

And Moses rose up and his minister Joshua, and Moses went up into the mouth of God.

And he said unto the elders, tarry ye here for us until we come again unto you.

If any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them." Now, what do we see in these verses?

Does Moses went, left the camp, not saying anything where he was going?

Did he say something what he's going to do?

No, according to this verse he was talking to the elders and Aaron and her who was the leaders at this moment in Israel because Moses is leaving for the mountain.

When we look at that, we see that Moses told them where he was going, right?

Now, the question is, I know you're still wondering, where's the false leader?

But the thing is that what you have to understand, the false leaders, what we're going to see is not someone that will come from outside and try to convince us to do something wrong.

But what we're going to see in this story, in fact, the 4 seminars is from chapter 32 of Exodus.

So this is what we're going to be studying for the 4 seminars.

The thing is that all These things came out of Exodus chapter 32 and even the false leaders.

And 1 thing that happened to Aaron, the first thing that happened to Aaron is that he forgot what Moses told him.

But when the people came to him and says, we don't know what's going on with Moses.

We don't know what Moses, maybe he's dead, maybe something happened to him, but we don't know.

1 thing that Aaron failed to do is to remind the people of God, the people of Israel, what's going on.

And 1 of the characteristics of a leader is to remind his people, is to remind his followers where we are going and what is our objectives.

And when you fail in that, when you have a leader who doesn't have an objective, who doesn't have something in view, and doesn't have a hope, then it's not really a leader.

Because where he's leading you if he doesn't know what he believes, what he has learned, and he's not sharing with others.

The thing is that Moses Aaron was here as a leader, as a priest, but he failed to do what he was supposed to do, is to encourage the people to continue to wait until Moses comes.

Now, you may say that Aaron was a priest, but today we have only pastors.

It says that we have been called kings and priests.

So you're a priest too, which means that in some part of your life, you can be a leader in your house, at school, at work, in the church.

But now, if you as a leader, as Aaron, when you forget what you believe, what you have been told to tell the people, you have failed in something.

Because 1 thing that we have to understand, Moses told him, he could have just come and tell the people, listen, Moses told us this.

He's going up, he's going to take some tables and laws, and he will come back and give us this and we have to wait for him.

And the thing is that can you be in the presence of the living God and die?

And this is what the people are saying, we don't know what's going on with Moses.

It might happen to him something, or he left us here.

But Moses made it clear, I will come back.

Isn't it the same message that Jesus gave us?

Isn't it the same message that Jesus said to John?

And as we are going outside as a leader, do we remind others that He will come soon, and we have to hold on to these promises.

False Gods

Heavenly Father, we come to you again at this moment to thank you so much that we have been blessed since this morning.

And until now, we feel blessed because you are here, you are speaking to us, and you are helping us to understand more and more about your word.

So now, as we are about to open your word again, please renew in us the beauty of your word, and let it be clear so that we can grasp the information, grasp the teaching, and so that we can be blessed also.

Lead us and guide us throughout this moment.

Speak through the 1 who's speaking right now.

And I have to, I'm going to repeat something that I said before, and I said it last night.

The title that you see in your bulletin, if I can say, it is, You will see that there is a different pattern that we are taking, because we were supposed to start with false revival and end up with false leaders.

So we have started with the false leader, and now we have false god, and after we're going to have false unity, and we're going to finish with false revival.

So this morning, we saw a story in the Bible.

And in fact, all the things that I've, all the titles that I've mentioned that are in the little book, it's taken from only 1 story.

And in this story, when you study it, you see that all these things happen in this particular moment of history.

And this is what we try to extract from it and to see how these things happen in the middle of the people of God.

And what we saw this morning about false leaders, we saw that there was a leader in Israel while the leader's name is Aaron, and while Moses was on the mountain, he told Aaron, I will be back in Exodus chapter 24.

I'll be back, tarry ye here until we come." So when the people came to Aaron and asked for a God in chapter 32, and they said, we don't know what happened to Moses.

In fact, I'm just going to read chapter 32, Exodus.

So Now the seminar that we are studying, that we are seeing, is False God.

Exodus chapter 32, and when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron and said unto him, up, make us gods, which shall go before us.

For as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of Egypt, out of the land of Egypt, we would not what is become of him.

So what we saw in the first seminar is that the people says we don't know what happened to Moses.

But in fact when you turn in chapter 24, you see that Moses says where he was going and what he was doing.

And Moses, the verse says in chapter 24, verse 13, 14, 15, that Moses told these things to the elders, to Aaron, and someone else called H-U-R.

But when the people came to them, instead of reminding them of what Moses said, they just go with the flow.

So the first thing that we saw, we saw that instead of reminding the people the word of Moses, the word of God, if we put it in actual situation, they failed to do that as leaders.

And second 1, we saw that Aaron, as leaders, he failed to stand firm for what he believed.

Chapter 23, verse 2 of Exodus says that, thou shalt not follow the multitude to do evil.

So what he did, he just go with the majority and please them.

And the third thing that what happened is that Aaron, he is the 1 who made the molten calf.

And when you look at verse 4 in chapter 32, verse 4 and verse 5, you will see that there are many things.

He received the golden earrings, He fashioned it, he made a molten calf, and the Word of God said he built an altar and he proclaimed a feast for the Lord.

So he's the 1 who brought this false god among God's people.

So it's not what I'm trying to show you is that I'm not taking people from outside that will come in and try to convince you of something wrong.

But God, but Satan is using people from within and try to deceive us.

When we talk, when we see in verse 1 of chapter 32, we see that the people came to Aaron and asked for a god.

When we talk about false god, what do you think about?

I have papers to give you, but I won't give you because you will know what we're going to talk about.

Yeah, god and goddesses, like in ancient history, well, even now we have some gods and goddesses.

Some people, like if we take some people, it's money.

So when I studied this, I was shocked that there was something else that is false god as well.

Because before we get there, what was the people's request?

They don't know what's happening with Moses.

Okay, they don't know what's going on with Moses.

Instead of asking for another leader to lead them, they're asking for God.

But When you look at this verse, when you look at this passage, you will see that gods is written with a small g, with an s, which means gods.

And when we look at it, we see that this means idols.

But the original word used for God's here, The original version, the original version of God's here is Elohim.

In fact, when you look at it, it says, Up, Make us Elohim.

Elohim, Genesis 1.1, God created all things.

In other words, Elohim created all things.

When we use the term Elohim, which means God Almighty, God in plural, which means that there was the Trinity here creating something, which means that Elohim, which is the self-existent being, he doesn't have any beginning because he is the beginning.

So what they were really asking is to make us Elohim.

So now, when we look at this, it says, make us Elohim that shall go before us, while the true Elohim ask them to stay here, to wait here until Moses come back.

And then we're going to proceed with the walk until we reach Canaan.

In fact, what's happening here is that they want a God who looks like Elohim, who has the same power of Elohim, who can do the same thing as Elohim, but in the same time, who will do their will, who will go their way, who will move when they want to move.

When they want to do something, we will move with that power of God.

What I'm trying to say here is that the people, what they were asking, is something that they can control, who has the same power of God, but what they can control.

And here it is interesting to see that when God says, stay here, wait here, They want to move.

But when God says, move and go in the city, they say, no, I won't move.

False Unity

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you at this moment knowing that there is nothing good in us, knowing that we can't do nothing without you.

So please, we're asking now that your Holy Spirit comes and fill us at this moment.

Remove our sins, purify our heart, and let there is nothing that will block us from your presence this afternoon.

Help us to understand, to grasp this information.

And let it be helpful for us to know where we are going, what we are doing.

Thank you for using the 1 who's speaking right now.

Let it be for your own glory only, for your own glory only.

Thank you so much for listening to our prayer.

And those who are not here from the beginning, we are studying, let's say, chapter 32 of Exodus.

We are studying a chapter in Exodus where we find all these titles, we can say, in this particular chapter of the Bible.

And it is interesting to see that it happened at the same time, in the same period, with the same people and the people who are called people of God.

And it is interesting to see also how it began and how how started from the beginning, how this false leader we've seen in this chapter as to be a leader who didn't stand firm for what he believed and a leader who forget what he was told to tell the people, and a leader who brought in false god.

And the second seminars was about false God.

Many people think that false God is about idols, about money, about our cause and our things that we have.

But when we look Inside the church, there are things that is called false god that we don't know what it is.

But the spirit of prophecy and through the Bible we saw that there is a wrong conception of God, a wrong perception of God is a false God as well, which means if you don't have a right perception of God and if you have another idea of who God is, it can be an idol in your life as well.

We have the false leaders who brought in false God, and now we will see the false unity.

Since there was a false leader, since there was a false conception and a wrong conception, now let's get together in this unity of false conception.

What he did, He went into, there was in the forest, there was a, how do you call it, small house for ants.

Okay, he went there And what he did, he start eating every ant that he find.

But when these ants find that, they didn't do anything at first.

But then they realized that they are losing their friends.

What they did, they come together and attack this cobra.

They attacked it so bad that they were able to kill that cobra.

So what I wanted to take out of this story is that this unity, this unity of these ants was able to kill a cobra, which means that this unity have bring into the, let's say the ants community, strength to face something stronger than them.

Now, when we look at our church today, are we facing an enemy who's also the serpent?

But The problem is, is it possible that we are reunited to fight against this enemy?

The thing is that if you have a group of people and we say that we are, let's say, Toronto group and In this group, the Toronto group is fighting each other.

If you have a soccer game, what the team has to do?

I don't pass you the ball because we don't have the same perception, we don't have the same ideas, we don't have the same objectives and you don't look like me so why should I pass you the ball?

This team has already lost before he started to play.

Because if you are not united with 1 another, you can do nothing.

You're not strong enough to go against your enemy.

So now, as I was saying, we are studying Exodus chapter 32.

If you have your Bible Exodus chapter 32 Okay verse 1 let's let's take I'm just gonna read verse 1 and then we're gonna I'm just just gonna mention other verses.

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us.

For as this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we were not what is become of him." What we see in this in this verse is that they don't know what Moses, what's happening with Moses.

But the thing is that what happened is they come together.

The Bible says that they gathered themselves together.

This story says that these people, they gathered themselves together unto Aaron to ask him to make God.

You join a group of people, and you're walking with them.

I'm taking David because I know him, right?

And we come and we come to David and 1 of my friends says, hey David, we're gonna beat you up today.

I was like, I didn't join you to beat him.

You know, We didn't agree on that before.

But we didn't have, we don't agree on that point to beat him up.

But this story says that when they come to Aaron, they were already having the same idea of what they are going to ask.

Because when they, Listen, when they come to David and they said, we're going to beat you up, I'm shocked, because I wasn't expecting that.

But you see, when they asked for this, nobody was shocked.

In fact, when you look in the verse 3, it says, Aaron says, Okay, okay, okay, you want a God?

Break off your golden earrings and bring them to me.

False Revival

Heavenly Father, we come to you at this moment to thank you so much for the opportunity once again to come to you and to seek you through your Word and seek for what you want us to do and what you want us to know.

So now, as we open your Word, as we open our hearts, fill us this afternoon and help us to understand what you're really asking from us, what you really need from us so that you can come quickly, but also before you come you can fill us with your Holy Spirit.

So now as we proceed Father, lead everything, lead the 1 who's speaking, hide him behind the cross, Let nothing that concerning self get in your way this afternoon, because we have prayed in the name of Jesus.

We've been in this seminar and we've been, we've saw until now everything that is false.

By the same time, we've seen, like in, for example, we saw false leaders.

We saw also what kind of leaders God is looking for.

We've seen false God, and we've seen what is the right, what we saw about false God is the wrong conception of God, and we have seen also the right conception of God.

And we've seen also false unity, And we have seen what is the genuine unity that God is asking us to have.

And now, as we are getting to the last seminar, which talks about false revival, we believe and we know through the spirit of prophecy that there is a genuine revival.

So I'm just not going to talk about false revival and just talk about churches outside and everything, but I'm just going to talk about things that are happening in the church.

And all these things that we've seen so far, it was, it is taken from Exodus 32, Exodus chapter 32, and we've seen all these things coming out of the people of Israel itself.

And we've seen that it's not from the outside, it's not from other religion for other nations, but it was from the people that is called the people of God.

Now, when we look at false revival, we know that everything, I can say that everything that you have, a genuine, Satan is trying to bring a counterfeit of it.

And Satan comes and says, no, you don't have to do that.

So everything that is genuine, that God has really something important about it, Satan is trying to bring a counterfeit so that we can be misled and go astray in our walk with God and end up with nowhere or in the wrong group for the wrong purpose.

When you look, when we look at the revival now, what is taking place in Exodus 32, Exodus 32.

It says, And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, up, make us God, which shall go before us.

As for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we would not what is become of him." We've seen that there was a false leader.

We've seen that there was false god, which means the false conception of God.

And we've seen also that there was a false unity, that the people gathered themselves with the wrong idea, with the wrong conception.

And now we are trying to find where the revival comes in this story.

What do you see when it says, and when people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount?

People see, is conscious, that Moses is not here, and he delayed, which means that he was supposed to come, but he didn't come.

And then the people cannot wait anymore and they want something.

But now, if we take this story, Chapter 32, all right, Chapter 32, we know that this is a reflection of what's going to happen in the last days just before the coming of Christ.

In fact, what we saw just before in the previous seminar is that the things that happen in chapter 32 is something that happened right before Moses come down.
