Well, I'm glad that you're here this evening as we're gonna continue our restoration series entitled The Message of Healing.

And we have an important subject to discuss this evening.

It's gonna be a little bit of maybe a heavier subject than our normal subjects have been up until this point.

But we're gonna be continuing the trajectory of talking about those 3 angels in the book of Revelation.

And so this message is extremely important to understand because it is part of those 3 angels that prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus, which means they're also part of that message intended to bring spiritual healing, amen.

But there's gonna be a part, and it's gonna seem a little heavy at first, and I'm just letting you know now, but I promise you'll see where we're going and how we're gonna see that God is still the God of love that He claims to be, amen.

And so the title of tonight's presentation is actually called The Fire of His Love, clearing the character of God.

Father in heaven, thank you for the privilege we have to come and to study your word this evening.

We pray that your spirit would be here to speak to us individually, personally, to challenge our thinking, and to help us to grow in the knowledge of you.

Bless us to this end, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.

So we're gonna begin in the 3 angels message, the 3 angels messages like I just mentioned and referred to.

This comes from the third angel's message.

We've been dissecting the first angel, the last few presentations together, and now we're gonna shift gears and dive into the third angel's presentation this evening.

The Bible says here in Revelation 14 9-11, then the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on his forehead, or in his hand.

He himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured with full strength into the cup of his indignation.

And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and the presence of the lamb.

And The smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever.

And they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and an image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

Now when we think about the 3 angels' messages, and when we read this message, that sounds like a pretty solemn warning, doesn't it?

Don't worship the beast, don't receive the mark of the beast, or there will be a tormentation of fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Now remember, this third angel is simply explaining what the natural consequence will be for those who reject that first angel, amen.

And we talked about the first angel the other day.

It was this idea of this angel coming to proclaim the everlasting gospel, the beauty of what Christ has done for us, how the Lamb of God has come and died on our behalf.

This group of people being described here are just those that chose to reject the gift that was offered.

And so it is a solemn warning that we're gonna read about this evening, and it is a solemn concept to talk about, but to me it's a very important subject to talk about.

Again, first, because it's part of the 3 angels' messages, But second, as a former atheist, this message hits close to home.

Because when I used to talk with Christians and people who believed in the Bible about this God that they believed in, I would ask them, because of your inability to convince me, I'm gonna be tortured for the ceaseless ages of all eternity, and a fire.

And I was like, okay, so, like, that idea just, it was 1 of the biggest turn-offs to their being a God, was this idea that he just can't wait to teach me a lesson and torment me for the ceaseless ages of all eternity because what I deemed a failure on his followers and their inability to convince me.

And literally I've had multiple people in those conversations look me in the eyes and say, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying will happen.

And it was 1 of the major questions I had when I became a Christian and started believing in the Bible and follow the evidence where it leads is, God, you have to explain this subject to me, because I don't know how to explain, I can't say it that way.

Help me to understand how can you be love and there be a hell?

And this is more practical than you might think it is.

This was a study done that looked at a different individual's belief in God and about God and who he is in relation to the severity of their psychiatric symptoms.

And what they found was that there was a correlation with, and there was 3 main categories that they talked about.

A benevolent God, a deistic or impersonal God, and a judicial God.

And what they saw is there was a direct correlation in these individuals' view of God and the severity of their psychiatric symptoms that they were experiencing.

And so it's showing that how we view God affects our healing process, amen.

How we understand who he is and how he relates to humanity affects how we interact with him and the type of healing that he can bring us.

And so this is why, again, for multiple reasons, it's an important subject to me.

It's part of the 3 angels message, so it's important to be ready for the second coming.

And number 3, I think it's essential for us to experience the healing that God wants us to experience, to really understand who he is.

And that's why this message is entitled, Clearing His Character.

The Bible says in 1 John 4, 8, we've seen it already in this seminar, He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

But now there's this doctrine or this idea of a judgment that will take place where the wicked will experience this fire.

And this is why in my presentations, the Bible is our only textbook, amen.

Because you should never believe what a person has to say about any subject when it comes to the Bible.

You should believe what the Bible has to say about the subject.

And so my challenge to you is don't believe anything because I say it.

If this is new to you tonight, write down the verses, consider them on your own.

Just read the Bible for yourself and See if you don't come to the same conclusions.

Let God lead you in your personal journey.

So with that being said, this is gonna be a more point-by-point presentation than what we've been doing in the past, but that's okay because this 1 is more of an explanatory presentation on this very specific subject.

So our first point I want us to recognize is that hell is in fact a very real thing.

The Bible actually describes that this will be a very real experience that a group of individuals will experience.

We see this in Revelation chapter 20, verse 15.

The Bible says here, and anyone not found written in the book of life was cast into the what?

Those that aren't in the Lamb's book of life, the names that are written there are the names of those who have chosen to follow the Lamb, to accept the free gift that God has given.

The names that are not written there will experience this thing Revelation calls the lake of fire.

It is a very real thing that will happen.

But this is such an important point to recognize.

It was never intended for us to experience.

You see, when you look at Matthew 25, verse 41, the Bible says, "'Then he will also say to those on the left hand, "'Depart from me, you cursed, "'into the everlasting fire, prepared for who?

"'The devil and his angels.'" Did it say the devil, his angels and wicked humanity?

This idea, this judgment that's gonna be experienced was never intended for a human to experience.

And this is such an important concept to understand because the way it was explained to me when people were trying to persuade me back in the day was that it was wholly intended for me to experience as an atheist.

That God's intention was to punish me and that he desired to put me there 1 day to teach me the right, the final lesson, but that it would be too late to learn anything at that point.

And this was the idea that was taught to me.

But when I read the Bible, I realized, wait, wait, wait, God never even wanted me to be there.

Even as an atheist, he had no desire for me to be present there.

And that's such an important point to understand.

Now the third point might be a new point to you this evening, but I'm gonna attempt to show you from the Bible why I believe that hell is actually not yet burning.

That was the other thing that they told me, was that as soon as I died, immediately I would somehow be teleported to this hell, where I would know that day that there was a God in heaven.

And that was the attempt to win me to Jesus.

Can you imagine that that's how you try to win someone to Jesus?

It's mind blowing to think about it, but these were kind of some of the attempts that were exercised upon me when I was a young person.

Jesus in a parable about the end of time, describing the harvest, which we've already studied, represents the second coming of Jesus, says this.

"'Let both grow together, ' describing the righteous and the wicked, "'until the harvest.

"'And at the time of the harvest, "'I will say to the reapers, "'first gather together the tares "'and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.

And we studied on a previous day that this represented the end of the world at the second coming of Jesus.

And so it goes on to say in this passage, a longer passage, and I encourage you to read the whole parable for the sake of time.

We won't go through the entire thing, but I encourage you to read the whole thing.

He answered and said to them, he who sows the good seed is the son of man.

The field is the world, and the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom.

But the tares are the sons of the wicked 1.
