The Power of Cause and Effect

This afternoon at 2 o'clock, I'm going to be leading out there, so I'm going to be going on chronological order.

I'm going to learn that method of Bible study.

And this 1 I'm going to be focusing on the power, it's called the power of cause to effect.

And LLA talks about that, we teach some people how to reason from cause to effect.

In other words, example, If you jump off a building, right you're gonna fall.

Yeah jumping is the you know the cause right?

That's right means hit the end if and when Yeah, it all works out very good.

So we're looking at cause to effect, right?

Whatever happens, you gotta look at the results that follow that.

And the Spirit of the Father says that needs to be understood.

So we're going to look at a study and then I'm going to give you some assignment and you break out and you study it out and show how the Lord's Legion is causing an effect.

And by the way, we prayed, so if you haven't prayed, you can pray.

And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent.

But if you reason from cause to effect, you're going to see that in this text, what do you see?

Okay, so you know God, right, is eternal life, right?

Now, when you look at that, you go like, how does knowing God equal to eternal life?

I mean, people would say, well, if I know God is eternal life, but people are going to say, no, I mean, you can't just say you know God and all of a sudden you're saved, because what if, you know, your life doesn't prove it, right?

So when I saw this, I'm like, wait a minute, you can say that, but there's a lot more than just in between, something's missing between the cause and effect here.

This is probably something, I was trying to get into the mind of John and say, well how did John get knowing God all the way down to eternal life?

Well John knew Hebrew And the word for know, it's talking about is Yadah.

And it's the word used for when a husband and wife become 1.

So we become 1 with God and we have eternal life.

So, and that's when that's cause and effect.

So this is actually in that case people come.

But then I realized, okay, there's steps in between that's missing that will help solve it a little bit more.

We can go, this 1 I'm talking about cause and effect.

You go from 1 text and you grab another text and you go cause and effect.

So what I did, I stretched out knowing God and put eternal life at the end.

And there's some things that are missing I would like to know along the way.

So the next text, turn to 1 John 4, verse 7 and 8.

1 John 4, I have a Bible, somebody needs a Bible.

Beloved, let us love 1 another for love is of God, And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Okay, the next, in 03:00 I'm going to show chronological order.

Can you tell me what's the cause and effect?

And what I want you to do is I want you, don't read it how it reads, I want you to switch things around so the order is correct.

So even though it said last, what do you see there in that text?

Beloved, let us love 1 another for love is of God, and everyone that loves is born of God and knoweth God.
