You are about to enjoy a presentation recorded at the 2024 Michigan Conference Camp Meeting held at Cedar Lake, Michigan.

We pray that the Lord will bless you as you listen.

Father in heaven, we're grateful for your goodness and mercies.

We pray that you will be with us now as we open your Word and as we study together.

We pray for your presence to be here and that you will speak to our hearts.

All right, so we've looked at, on Monday, we looked at, and our entire premise for these first 3 messages was that there were decrees that were made during the captivity of ancient Israel in the Babylonian captivity and as these decrees were made they were representative and helping us to understand the decrees that will be made in our time and in the future according to prophecy.

And so we saw the first decree that was made of the captivity, or at least the first 1 that we have much information of, was Daniel chapter 3 and this great image was erected, right?

And what was the command when this image was erected?

What did we say that corresponded to prophetically?

Yeah, when a decree enforces Sunday worship, right?

Now we saw how not everyone was affected in that decree on Daniel 3 because Daniel was not affected.

So these Sunday laws are going to begin locally, and they're going to begin in a smaller way, probably just like the image on the Plain of Dura gradually went up.

Probably they'll be gradually going up, but then there's a decree enforcing false worship.

We looked at that yesterday and what decree was that?

And when we look at that decree prohibiting true worship, Daniel was, and not just Daniel, everybody was prohibited from praying to any god or king other than King Darius, right?

And so that was a decree enforcing false worship or prohibiting I should say true worship.

The second 1 prohibited true worship along with enforcing false worship.

And so when our time, when we look at that, is there coming a time when not only will there be decrees, not only will there be Sunday laws, but will there come a time when we're prohibited from keeping the Sabbath as well?

There'll come a time when we're prohibited from keeping the Sabbath as well.

There'll come a time when we're prohibited from keeping the Sabbath.

So that was a decree prohibiting true worship.

And so it's going to be a gradual growth in that.

And now we're going to look at a third decree which takes place a number of years after this but is still in the period of the Babylonian captivity.

And we're looking at enduring the Sunday laws.

Now, I wanna look, to begin with, I wanna go to Revelation 12, verse 17.

And this is a verse we all know well, but I wanna read it anyway.

And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

So what is the Bible, what is the devil's attitude here?

Because there's a group of people that what?

There's a group of people that are keeping the commandments, right?

The devil is enraged with those and goes to make war with those who are keeping the commandments of God and having the testimony of Jesus, right?

And so enraged with those keeping the commandments of God.

Has the devil always been angry with those keeping God's commandments?

In fact, we can go all the way back, right?

So you have 2 streams of worshippers that come from the Garden of Eden right there.

And what does when Abel refuses to compromise, What does the devil do to him through Cain?

Now I imagine that he tried to induce him first, he tried to force him, And when that did not work, he killed him.

And I'm gonna suggest today, and we're gonna look at it, that that is always the devil's methodology.

To deceive, to entice, to force, and if that doesn't work, attempts to kill.

And you can look at throughout history, did Noah keep God's commandments?

He found grace in the eyes of the Lord, he kept the commandments, we see that.

We see Abraham keeping the commandments, right?

And so we have throughout biblical history, keeping the commandments of God and the devil not being happy with it.

Now in the last days, And we know, we read it here in Revelation 12, 17, the devil's final assault, the devil goes to make war against the remnant who are keeping the commandments of God.

But does Revelation mention the commandments of God other times as well?

Here are the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus, right?

Revelation 22, 14, blessed are those that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and enter in through the gates into the city.

And so we see a line of demarcation, if you will, between those that keep God's commandments and those that do not.

Now Job is a fascinating book, probably the first book of the Bible written, and it really pulls back the curtain for us that I believe it helps us to understand some of the last day events more, even though this is a first day event, not first day but anyway you get it, early events in biblical history.

Job 1 verses 6-8, Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.

And the Lord said to Satan, From where do you come?

So Satan answered the Lord and said, From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.

Then the Lord said to Satan, have you considered my servant Job?

That there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, 1 who fears God and shuns evil." Notice the picture here.

The sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord.

I don't know exactly what that's depicting, but it sounds like there's a large gathering of those representing all the created beings of the universe.

And as they're gathered there, and the Lord is there, the Lord says to Satan, where did you come from?

God is saying to Satan, why are you here?

And Satan says, I'm From the earth, from the territory of the earth, that's my domain.

I have sway over the earth." And notice God's response.
