Witnessing to Others

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for the privilege that you gave me to speak with your precious people.

I plead with you put your words in my mouth.

Give me clarity of mind, crystallize the truth in my heart that I might utter what you want me to utter.

Hide me behind the cross Lord, let the glory be yours alone.

Thank you for your guardian angels that you've sent to protect us from distractions and from any evil thing that could happen.

Bless my ears with your Holy Spirit, my Lord.

And thank you so much for answering our prayer.

I pray from the bottom of my heart and honor be to your name forever.

Okay, so the title of my talk is witnessing to others.

It starts with a, actually, the commission, the conversion, it's a commission, sorry.

Jesus said in Matthew 28, 18 to 20, and Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, go ye, all of you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.

Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

Okay, so what's the condition to embrace this commission and fulfill it?

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.

And when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

There is a close union between the transformed, the converted soul, and God.

It is impossible to find words to describe this union.

It is a treasure worth infinitely more to the true believer than gold and silver.

Does it matter so much to you, this commission?

The Christian sees a Savior ever before him.

And by beholding, he becomes changed into the same image.

From glory to glory, he bears the signature of God.

God's name is imprinted on his forehead, like the 144, 000 that we read about In Revelation 7 and 14.

Peace, an overwhelming peace that you feel because you're close to God.

Isaiah 26, 3 and 4 says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee.

Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.

Let me tell you about a little experience in the beginning of my Christian conversion experience.

It was about a couple of years after Christ came into my life.

It had rained 3 or 4 days in a row, and my ceiling had started leaking.

And I put pots and pans at the bottom on the floor of the kitchen to catch the water.

By the time I got home, it was 10 o'clock at night.

And so I walk into the kitchen, and there's dirt on the floor.

I picked up the phone and I called my cousin, Grace, her husband, Hanny, is an architect and I asked him for a roofers number.

He was at Southern Adventist at that time.

I said, Eric, you can't believe what happened last night.

He said, Mom, can you imagine before Christ how you would have responded to your ceiling falling to the ground, to the floor.

And it's like he poured a big bucket of cold water on my head.

I would have felt that the world is crumbled all over me.

But now thou shalt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.

Joy, that's another goody that we get when we're converted.

Psalm 16, 1 says, thou wilt show me the path of life.

In thy presence is fullness of joy and thy right hand are pleasures forevermore.

So I remember a trip that I took with Adventist Medical Evangelism Network, Amen, and I really encourage every 1 of you that's either allied health professional or doctor or dentist to join.

This organization has had a big impact on my life in my spiritual experience, praying not only with my patients but with a lot of people and reaching out around.

3ABN came with us to film the trip to Haiti.

I was the whole time singing and with a smile on my face.

Murray, I think many of you recognize him from 3ABN, he said, Raja, how come you're so happy all the time and you're smiling?

I said, because he loves me, because he's done a miracle in my life.

Look at what 1 Peter 3 15 says, and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks of you the reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

When someone asks you, why are you happy?

What is this peace that you have, overwhelming joy?

Security before BC, before Christ came into my life.

There was a lot of reasons for being insecure.

But ever since, Psalm 55, 22, cast thy burdens upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee.

Do you do the right thing by the Lord's help and his help?
