Going to Extremes

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even forevermore.

His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.

And I often say, truth will always be with us.

1 day, error, false doctrine will come to an end.

Along with those who persist in living their lives by error.

Deuteronomy 32 verse 4, God is the God of truth.

John 14 6, Jesus says I am the way, the truth.

1 John 5 verse 6, the Holy Spirit is truth.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit, they are truth.

If we are their children, finish my words, We must be children of truth.

And the highest expression of truth in the Bible is the decalogue.

He or she who lives an obedient life, lives a truthful life.

I agree with the pastor, the lunch was very good.

I didn't get any ackee and saltfish but it was still, it was still very very good.

Our subject for this afternoon, going to extremes.

Let me see how you do this afternoon and I'll add the plus.

As long as you give your life to his son.

I keep forgetting that when you stand in these days to speak, people watch you from all over the world.

So, forgive me, my beautiful, handsome people online.

Thank you for joining us and may the lord bless you as super abundantly as we believe he will bless us in this building.

It's really disconcerting to hear a phone ring during the worship service.

Favor number 2, while I'm speaking, pray for me and say, lord, put your words in that man's mouth.

Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 9, then the Lord put forth his hand and touch my mouth.

And I said, when reading the Bible, use your imagination.

Picture God, I do, stretching his hand, his elastic hand.

With 1 finger he touches my mouth and he says to me, behold I have put my words in thy mouth.

And so, I want god to do that from time to time as I speak.

Simply say in the privacy of your heart, lord, put your words in that man's mouth.

What has the devil done for you that you serve him?

The thief cometh not, come on, tell me, but for the steal, to kill, and to destroy, that's the devil.

Which means a life without Christ can never be abundant.

Regardless of how large your bank account is, a life without Christ cannot be abundant.
