01 The Coming King: Prophecy in Motion

There is a gospel to be preached, 3 angels' messages to be heard, a midnight cry to be sounded, and I want to go home.

Our scripture is going to come from Zechariah chapter 9.

It says, rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion.

He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey.

Our message this Sabbath is entitled, thank you, the coming king, prophecy in motion.

Father God, we thank you for this opportunity to study your word.

I thank you, Lord, for traveling mercies, And I thank you for the gathering, the beautiful music we've heard already today, from the praise team and the special music.

Lord, we just thank you because you are worthy of our praise.

And I am asking Lord for Holy Ghost power.

Instead, let us hear a word from the throne room of grace.

This is our prayer in Jesus's precious and holy name.

If you have your Bible, we're going to come initially from Mark and Luke.

And I want this morning to establish our week on an understanding of who Jesus is.

You would be shocked how many people come to church every week and if you ask them basic questions about the personhood, godhood, and divinity of Christ, they can't answer it.

If we're going to be Christians, at the center of what we do is Jesus Christ.

Verse 8 of Mark 11 says this, And many spread their garments in the way, and others cut down branches of the trees, and strawed them in the way.

And they that went before, and they that followed, cried saying, Hosanna!

Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.

Blessed be the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord.

I'm gonna jump to the book of Luke, Luke chapter 19 and continue in this story.

Now what the story we're talking about now is, let me get 1 of the wired mics, in Luke chapter 19 because what we're talking about is Jesus's grand procession into Jerusalem.

As Jesus is walking into Jerusalem the story unfolds.

So understand the people are celebrating the idea of Jesus now.

This is 1 week basically before he is crucified and you have this outpouring of love for Jesus.

Luke 19 38 says saying blessed be the king that comes in the name of the Lord.

Peace in heaven and glory in the highest.

The people are celebrating Jesus but his enemies are not happy.

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master do what?

And he answered and said unto them, watch this church.

He says, I tell you that if these should hold their peace, what would happen?

As Jesus is going into Jerusalem and the people are laying down the palm branches in front of him, he's riding on a donkey fulfilling the Old Testament prophecy that Christ, that the Messiah would come and that this scene would be played out.

The Pharisees get upset they do not like what they see.

They tell Jesus you need to rebuke these people for giving you this adoration and praise.

Jesus says if they stop praising me, if they stop what they're doing, the inanimate rocks would become animate.

The rocks that have never known life would begin to speak.

I want you to get the depth of who it is we worship.

I want you to understand how powerful our God is that not only as we heard in the children's story Can he stop the winds and cause the waves to cease?

We serve a God who can make stones cry out and speak.

In verse 41 of Luke 19 the Bible says, and when he was come near, he beheld the city, and what did he do?

He's made the proclamation about the stones, but Jesus stops being praised.

He moves to a solid place where he can see the entire city of Jerusalem.

And my Bible tells me Jesus breaks down and he begins to cry.

The Bible records 2 times when Jesus cries.

The other time is outside of Lazarus's grave.

It tells you in verse saying, if thou hadst known, even thou, if you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace, but now, Jesus says to Jerusalem, now they are hid from your eyes.

Why is he so emotionally distraught over the condition of the city of Jerusalem in his day?

You see the Messiah had come and they did not understand who he is.

Jesus had come to save them not from the Romans, he'd come to save them from their sins.

And unfortunately even among Christians today we think we sometimes misappropriate what Jesus actually came for.

In America there's a war, a religious war going on in our country and there are those who think that Jesus came to make America a Christian nation.

Not that the people are Christian but that the government is.

Church, we are living in the very last days of Earth's history and as we go through this week I'm going to show you how what is happening in the current presidential administration in the United States.

I'm going to show you the election of the last Pope and its significance.

As we go through the week, we are going to go through prophecy.

But I don't want to get there until we go here, until you understand who is at the center of prophecy.

As we go through this week, I'm going to show you that, in fact, much, and for those of you who were raised at Venice and have heard the prophecies all your life, have heard the stories all your life, I want you to see that it is not someone doing a Daniel and Revelation seminar that is now revealing to you what's about to happen.

That if your eyes are open, the prophecies are being fulfilled in a way that in my lifetime, they have never been fulfilled.

And what Jesus is saying in verse 42 is that the prophecies for his first coming had been fulfilled.

He had done everything the Bible laid out that he should do and yet people still thought that his role was to be king of earthly Israel and not king of the universe.

You see the reason the wars are happening in the Middle East in large part started right here in Great Britain.

I'll come back to it later in the week, but I want you to know that we're going to talk about why there was a Balfour Declaration that ascribed Palestine the way it did, and it ties all the way forward to what's happening in the US government today.

Much of what many evangelical Christians believe is prophecy is actually false prophecy.

In fact, it is part of why the United States of America has the foreign policy it has, and it is tied up in 1 deception, and 2, it is tied up in leading people to a place where there will 1 day be a Sunday law.

02 Hollywood: The Devil’s Magic Wand

We're going to hit this subject from a few different angles this week.

I go around, when I preach, I go around, the 2 things that you'll see that I combine are a lot of what I've learned in the practice of medicine, but what we would learn in the spirit of prophecy and the scripture, because it gives a special, when you combine those things, there's special warnings for these days.

So we're gonna go into this 1, And I know from being in the UK in the past, Hollywood has just as much an influence here as it does in the United States.

And sometimes for young people especially, my talks are very difficult.

Because everybody watches this in the world, everybody, you grow up watching these things and you don't think much of it, but if we don't really begin to parse this out and look at what we're watching and listening to, we put ourselves in spiritual danger.

2 Thessalonians chapter 2, starting at verse 9.

The Bible says, even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all powers and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a what?

Our talk this afternoon is entitled, Hollywood, The devil's magic wand.

Father God, we do ask now that you bind Satan.

Lord, we ask now that you make him powerless so that we can see just how powerful you are.

As we go through this talk of warning, I pray, Lord, that the distractions would be removed, that our minds would be focused only on you.

This is our prayer now Lord that we would understand your scripture and your truth.

For these last days we pray this in Jesus name.

So we're gonna read from the book of Ephesians and I'm, we're gonna get right into this.

And it says this, and have no, actually read this with me out loud, and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done in secret." Church, we watched this verse unfolded with the Sean Puff Daddy P.

Diddy Combs trial that just finished in the United States of America.

I don't know how much they followed it here, but it was big talk in the States.

Puffy still is 1 of the biggest music producers of the modern era.

And he was found to be having some very dark things happening.

As we go through the week, I want to get behind the headlines.

I want you to understand that in fact what was exposed in this Sean P.

Diddy Puffy, he has so many names over the years, what was exposed really is satanic rituals.

And what was exposed is that we live in a world where now young people especially don't know that when they venture into some of these things, really what you're venturing into is a different type of darkness that binds you up.

When you hear of the things that were done and how they were done, you realize it was completely demonic.

In fact, you'd have to go back to Numbers chapter 25 and to the deception of Balaam at Baal Peor to really get an understanding of what the devil's trying to do.

We'll come back to that later in the week.

"'None are in greater danger "'from the influence of evil spirits "'than are those who, notwithstanding the direct and ample testimony of the Scriptures, deny the existence and agency of the devil and his angels.

So long as we are ignorant of their wiles, they have almost inconceivable advantage.

Many give heed to their suggestions while they suppose themselves to be following the dictates of their own wisdom." And this is what happens to many teenagers right here.

When I was a teenager, I thought I figured it out.

I figured I knew everything I needed to know.

I was listening to Bob Marley and Public Enemy and all the rest of the reggae and hip hop groups.

And what I didn't realize, listening to that music, Satan was programming me against the gospel and against the church.

So that I loved going to church all my life until I got to about 11th grade.

As I began to really immerse myself in this music, I began to hate going to church.

And what you think when you're a young person is that, as Ellen White says here, you think it's your own idea that you don't want to go to church.

And you don't realize that, in fact, it is the things that we are exposing ourselves to that are causing us to not want to go to church, to not read our Bible, to not want to pray, and to want to be exposed to the things of the world.

That's why she says here, so long as we are ignorant of their wiles, they have inconceivable advantage.

My brother, it's drifted away from the church for a while, my younger brother, I have a lot of brothers, 1 of my brothers was a famous cricket player, Courtney Walsh.

But my younger brother David started to make money in the nightlife business in Southern Florida, in Miami.

And my mother, when she was dying, prayed that he would come back to church, told him to come back to church.

And it took him a little while, but finally he began to come back to God.

And I'll never forget, we had a conversation, and I was saying to him, David, do you believe in God?

He said, after my work in the nightclub, he said, I am 90% sure there's a God.

He said, but I'm a hundred percent sure there's a devil.

Ella White is trying to warn us, and young people, I know The devil's gonna try and distract you, put your phone away, hear what I'm about to tell you because it could save your life.

The devil wants to convince you that in fact what matters most in this world is pleasure and having fun.

I wanna submit to you something different tonight.

It is not fun that you should be after, but joy.

I want to submit to you that you will watch many people and in the UK, the other times I've been in the UK, I found there is nowhere on earth that people drink alcohol like the UK.

I remember being in London and the boys are blacking out, falling out on the streets, drunk.

This is Satan trying to grab you and hold you Hear the words tonight.

It will save you a life of pain Now in the book The Great Controversy, page 516, Ellen White says, this is why as we approach the close of time, when Satan is to work with greatest power to deceive and destroy, he spreads everywhere the belief that he does not exist.

It is his policy to conceal himself and his manner of working.

And so as we come to the end of time, I'm gonna show you, Satan is beginning to show himself, but not as himself.

He is beginning to show himself as someone else.

You don't want to miss when I begin to...

We're gonna talk about TV shows like Lucifer and other shows like this that have come out to rewrite the great controversy, Right?

Hollywood is the town in California everybody wants to be a part of.

It's the sacred symbol of the ancient Druids of Hollywood.

The Druids are from right here in England as you all know.

It was in Merlin, you grow up, you listen to King Arthur's table and the wise brave men that served with King Arthur.

His magician's name was Merlin, remember?

And his magic wand was made out of Hollywood.

It will convince you to do terrible things.

03 Digital Rooftops

27, you've heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shall not commit adultery.

But I say unto you that whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Our message tonight is entitled Digital Rooftops.

Lord, once again, just make me a nail on the wall and hang a portrait of Jesus there.

So I'm asking for an extra outpouring of the Holy Spirit that he would now lead us into truth, convict, convert, and empower us to live a Christian life and be like Jesus.

This is our prayer in Jesus' name now we pray.

So our story tonight is going to come from the book of 2 Samuel.

We're going to start in verse 11, 2 Samuel chapter 11, sorry, starting at verse 1.

And honestly, this is 1 of my favorite stories.

So you have to come back tomorrow night to hear the last part of the story.

If you miss the second part, you missed the part that's probably going to most affect you long term.

So make sure you come back tomorrow night.

But tonight we are going to rattle the cage.

2 Samuel 11 says, and it came to pass after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel, and they destroyed the children of Ammon and besieged Rabbah.

But David tarried still at Jerusalem." This is David, the great king of Israel and Judah.

He took 5 stones with him to fight Goliath and some say, did he think he was gonna miss?

No, David brought 5 stones because Goliath had 4 brothers.

David was ready to take out the whole family.

It's David that when Saul was possessed with demons, it's this same David who on the 1 hand was a mighty warrior, was so skilled musically that when David played his harp, he could play demons out of people.

This is the David that when Saul was trying to kill him, and Saul was in the cave, and David found him and could put him to death and they wanted to put Saul to death.

It is David who said, no I cannot touch the Lord's anointed.

Church, this was a mighty man And here we see a portion of the story of David that is in many ways disturbing, yet, as you'll find out tomorrow night, very encouraging.

The Bible says, but David tarried still at Jerusalem.

That is telling you he wasn't supposed to be there.

David was supposed to get up and go somewhere.

Here it is, verse 2, and it came to pass in an eventide.

David was bored and sitting in the lack of luxury.

The Bible says that David got up off his bed and walked upon the roof of the king's house.

And from the roof he saw a woman washing herself.

Somebody else say it, read it out, say it out loud.

Very beautiful to look, some of y'all don't wanna say that in church, it's all right, it's in the Bible, you can say it.

Bathsheba was so good looking, when she walked down the street, motorcycles would crash.

And you know she's beautiful because the Bible says she is.

The Bible doesn't call very many women beautiful.

1 sister wasn't so good looking and the other 1 was real good looking.

Verse 3, and David sent and inquired after the woman.

And 1 said, is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Ilium, the wife of Uriah the Hittite, David saw her and he just was out of his mind.

And let me tell you something, women may not realize this, but I'm going to tell a secret on the men right now.

Sometimes men see a woman and they mind, It's like there's a short circuit in the motherboard of the brain.

You see a woman and it just discombobulates you.

She's so good looking that you can't think straight for a second.

You gotta hold on and ask God to just keep you straight.

Cleveland, the great preacher, had a great, you know, E.E.

And I remember in 1 of his sermons at Oakwood, E.E.

Cleveland said, if you look at a woman and you lust after her, you sin.

He said, it's not the first look, it's the second look where you sin.

And then he said, so make the first look long.

When they found out who it is, they said, David, this is the daughter of Eliam, your homeboy.

Eliam was 1 of David's most trusted friends.

And then he said, she's the wife of Uriah the Hittite.

This is a woman whose father and husband have devoted their lives to you and have given you respect, David.

You ought not be looking at this woman, David.

Verse 4, and David sent messengers and took her and she came in unto him and he lay with her for she was purified from her uncleanness and she returned unto her house." Here's verse 5.

He puts you into second gear and act like you ain't gonna never hit fifth gear, but fifth gear is coming when you start to sin.

Verse 5 says, and the woman conceived and sent and told David and said, I am with child.

04 Tribulation’s Song

Some of you have asked me about my testimony.

And so I just want to give the testimony a shortened version of it tonight.

Our scripture reading for that comes from Matthew chapter 5 and verses 10 through 12.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven.

For so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Our message tonight is entitled Tribulations Song.

Father God we thank you for this opportunity to share this testimony, the words of Scripture and the truths from the spirit of prophecy.

I just ask for your Holy Spirit now Lord for protection and for wisdom, insight and Lord that this will lead others into truth that protects them later on in time of trial.
