Yes, Lord

Well, I bring you greetings from all around the world on behalf of R3 Ministries.

R3 is not only the name of our organization, but it is the philosophy of our organization.

We wanted to supply our identity along with our mission all in 1 because you can't separate identity and mission.

Identity drives mission and mission drives identity.

The more you understand who you are and what you were created to do, the more likely you are to do it.

And the more you do what you were created to do, the more you remember who you are.

This is why the Seventh-day Adventist Church and any Christian church, if it understands its identity, will always be active the way Jesus was active.

And the more active the church is, the more it will remember why it exists.

There will be no concern about why the doctors need to be adjusted.

There will be no concern about the standards, whether lowered or hired or adjusted, because we understand who we are as we continue to do what we were called to do.

So with our 3, we've broken down this into 3 words.

We are told that if we would supply youth with an ability to focus their attention on Jesus, then the soul has found its center.

And in finding its center in Jesus, everything else has meaning as it is connected to him.

So as a result, Any activity that we do must be redeeming it must be Christ centered It must present Jesus not only in its action or in its words or in its ministry But it must present Jesus in its spirit in the way in which it is done There are many people who are doing God's will but not God's way.

There are many people preaching God's truth but not through his spirit and as a result they're doing more damage than good.

And so for us before we go to anything else about mission, activities, business, here and there, principles of operation or policy, we believe Jesus must be the center of everything.

He is the reason why, He is the method how, He is the actual content and he is the ultimate end It's all in all in Christ As a result we move on from there to say that some people will agree with that principle and say yes Everything is redeeming Everything is Christ centered as if that means we are not to be rational beings.

We are not to use our minds We're not to think through what we are doing and so as a result our second Principle in our philosophy and identity is rational There is a difference between rationalism and being rational.

It suggests that the way to arrive at truth or understanding is through reason in your own thinking and mind.

But if everything is Christ-centered, we must not depend only on our rational reasoning we must depend on revelation Can you say amen?

Therefore as a result we believe that our 3 that things that we do must be Christ centered, but well thought-out understood researched But for some reason people think oh no we just preach Jesus We don't have to think about what we're going to do.

That's a mistake, because Paul was an educated man.

And as an educated man, he did more for the gospel than the uneducated people.

The greatest evangelist in the New Testament, and wrote a third of the New Testament.

Because Ellen White says, he was more educated.

And Greater education increases the ability of influence and reach and impact Some of us will never reach judges or city councilmen or lawyers or doctors because we put down education We put down reading we put down being intellectual check out the newspaper get off of YouTube and pick up a book And as a result, we're never going to reach those people with the gospel Because they're looking at you and you're saying well, I don't think college is that important.

Not only does he have a PhD in law, please, please pray you don't fall into his hands in the court of law, Because he will remember the conversation.

You know why you're standing before me in this courtroom?

Because if people read, the law wouldn't be here.

And not only read the law, obeyed the law.

And now he's the 1 judging you, determining whether you be free or not.

It's always been said when I was growing up in school, my middle school teacher, she sensed that I was playing dumb in school.

Sit in class for some reason in middle school, in high school, we think it's cool to be stupid.

I don't understand that, but I was a part of it.

You sit in the back of the class slouching in the seat, act like you don't care about the class, that you don't want to learn anything, I'm too hard for social studies.

As a result, my teacher pulled me aside because she's looking at my homework.

She's looking at my exams, and she's like, Sebastian, something's not adding up.

She's like, Sebastian, you get 100 on the exam.

Your Homework is perfect, but when we're in class, you're not answering no questions, you don't know anything.

She's like, Sebastian, I'm going to tell you something.

Number 3, and this is the 1 that got me, she said, 1 day you'll be paying the other people in the class.

They'll be in your office wondering if they can get a job.

And their livelihood to provide for their children and their families will depend on your willingness to recognize whether they have potential or not.

You may make fun of the brother with all As.

You'll be in his office asking for a job.

And you'll be wearing his clothes on your back.

You'll be buying his computers in the store.

You'll be over there at his car lot trying to buy 1 of his vehicles that he built and designed Because he's a nerd But you over here look.

Oh, I love the Lamborghini I love the Porsche guess who designed it a man who wasn't sitting in the back of the class acting stupid Yes, sir.

So in this sense, shock me out of my pants.

So as a result, for R3, we're like, listen, just because it is Christ-centered, this doesn't mean check out of your mind and don't read don't do your research.

Don't think I'm all for the health message that doesn't mean medicine has nothing to contribute and I have friends on both sides of the argument Medical doctors who look at all medical myths.

They're all crackety crooks doing crazy stuff with crazy herbs.

Then you got people on the other side, these med, all they wanna do is medicate you to death.

I walked into a lady's house, she had a pack this long, medication for the day.

Take this 1 before breakfast, after breakfast.

This is for, I'm like, this is ridiculous.

So on both sides you say let's be rational about this.

Do you need some crazy synthetic chemical every time you feel an ache in your body?

But there are some things, mint and cumin and other things ain't going to solve.

If you got a gallbladder inflammation, you need to go to the doctor.

Don't sit at home wondering if this thing's gonna go away.

Because I've seen people, and Jehovah's Witnesses go through this all the time, no blood transfusions.

That's why in some states it's illegal to say no.

They petition it they fight it, but the law says no, we're not gonna have you deny your son life Because some crazy principle that the state doesn't agree with now We already know where that's going on our boat, but that's where I'll hold another sermon The third principle in our 3 is to say yes, we want to be Christ centered yes, we want to think through what we're doing, why we're doing it, but we also need to be radical.

I'm a firm believer as a preacher, and I'm a young preacher.

Old in my style, but I'm not old in my age.

But as my wife and I always say, it's not the number of years of experience, it's the experience in your years that matter.

And in my several, you know, 10 years plus of preaching and traveling the Adventist Church, what I've noticed is we got enough inspiration.
