Cherish the Treasure

So we want your participation this afternoon.

We would like to see some hands of husbands and wives that you could share what you have done this last week to cherish your spouse.

Now I want everybody to be thinking about the who's married And we want you to list as many things as you can in your mind But then we're gonna we'll give you 30 seconds to do that Okay You should come up with a nice list in 30 seconds And then we were gonna ask you to start sharing those things with us now don't ask your wife.

Because that would typically be a blue question to a pink.

If you were here last night, did I do anything to cherish you, honey?

And if you didn't do anything, it's okay because we can learn, right?

Okay, so we wanted you to take about 30 seconds, husbands and wives, just reflect over this past week and yes you can even add camp meeting in there, what you've done to cherish your spouse.

Time lasts a long time when your list is 0.

Okay, Jordan's got the roving mic, so he's ready for an expression.

Stand up and then express what you have done to cherish your spouse.

Or you can say, this is what my spouse did to cherish me.

It's much easier when you say what has your husband done to cherish you.

He's taking care of the children and we have a baby.

Today's about the first day that I felt good and he's prepared all the food.

He's, he's, he's even, I think he even rubbed my feet.

So, he's done a really good job this week.

He's Okay, well you please pass along this message from another husband to a husband, okay?

Well, every month, my wife and I celebrate a monthly wedding anniversary.

Just recently we celebrated 226 months of marriage.

But You're not going to tell us what you did to celebrate it.

This past 2 weeks I've been feeling under the weather myself.

And pressure coming on, getting ready for camp meeting, whether I'm going or not, you know, because of work.

And my wife was really good several times to massage me and make me feel comfortable, because I was just having some pain and things and so it was very soothing to have, especially she's a nurse and she has that touch.

Now this side, you've been wheat the whole camp, so we're not letting you off the hook because this is the last time we're calling on you guys.

Yesterday, my husband come in, and before he come in, he asked me if I needed anything.

And I said, well, I need a pillow, I need my purse.

He's like, all right, you need a pillow, your purse, and antiseptic.

So he had registered that I may need more than I asked for, so I thought that was kind of neat how he took it upon himself to register that I might need some antiseptic.

We've got somebody redeeming this half of the group.

I'm standing up to buy a soap and a hand sanitizer.

No, but, you know, usually I take care of setting the sound up and Jordan comes in and helps me and stuff But Jordan was around and my wife Volunteered to help me set everything up for the camp and that was very special So she is cherishing you by helping you do the techie stuff.

We had a disaster happen to our house, and Carol volunteered to go and find contractors and all kinds of people to help out to repair it.

And while I was at work, she called me up and told me that she loved me.
