Biblical Perfection In the Light Of Justification- Part 1

Father, we are grateful to you for your goodness.

We pray that you would help us to assimilate it into our lives.

We pray for understanding of your word is our prayer in Jesus name.

Part 2 is entitled The Progression of Perfection.

And when we talk about justify, like I said, we have where we're supposed to be going.

I'm not an artist, but we all know the sanctuary.

Right where we have the laver, the altar of burnt offering, right?

And Over here we have the table of showbread, the altar of incense, and the candlesticks, right?

Then here we have the Ark of the Covenant.

And if we were to split this up, this would be called justified.

This would be called Sanctified, that's the holy place, right?

And this would be called glorified, most holy.

Okay, so when we talk about the progression of perfection, I'm gonna show you what most Christians do.

We bring Jesus, and then we return and sin again.

And then we bring Jesus, and then we go back and sin again and we bring Jesus and I much I'm this this this step right here is called sinner saved by grace this action we bring Jesus we go back and sin again.

Many of us get this far, just like Jesus told the parable of the sower, But because the thorns grew and choked the Word, they became unprofitable for him, right?

Hardly ever do we make it to the holy place, especially with this stigmatism.

This is the death of Christianity, especially the death of Adventism.

So we're talking about the progression of perfection.

We're going to talk about how we move from the courtyard to the holy place to the most holy.

Because in the most holy, we have to appear before a holy God without an intercessor.

That's not progression, that's digression, amen?

And we said that justify means, remember what we said it means, declared righteous as in what?

Therefore, Leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto what?

Let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of what?

And of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

We do not want to go on unto perfection because of our mindset.

We do not believe that we can be perfect.

Now the word perfect from my study, the word perfect in Greek is telios.

There are many words that we use this prefix And when I give you these examples, you're gonna see a progression.

Shame on me for not knowing what verse and chapter, but you'll know it.

He talked about The kingdom of heaven is like this blade of corn, right?

First you have the first you have the sprout, then you have the ear, and then you have the corn in the ear, right?

The question I always ask from that parable is, when is corn not corn?

Corn is corn here, corn is corn here, corn is corn when you see the corn.

Amen, we don't look at the corn and say, oh there go a blade.

No, we say there go the corn, but there's no corn on it.

But that's not the way Christians view themselves.

It comes with the ideal of starting at 1 point and arriving at another.

Starting at a point, arriving at another.

Sent up to the satellite, to your television.

Start at a point, arrive at its destination.

I start here, I want to get back to the Enterprise.

This is the ideal of biblical perfection.

That's why Jesus says if any man put his hand to the what?

Walk in the light while you have the light.
