Jesus came to this world not just so that we may have life, but that we may have it more abundantly. We cannot know true joy and peace until we find them in Him. Medical ministry is not just about restoring what was lost; it’s about helping people to live the abundant life – a life full of purpose, meaning and completeness. When people live without God they are simply existing. Improving their physical health will not address the core issue. Our goal as medical missionaries is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in bringing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing to our patients.

Medical ministry focuses on reconnecting broken people with the only One who can heal the soul and enable them to live life in the full abundance of God’s original plan. Medical ministry is not about what you can’t eat or what rules of health you must follow. Rather, it’s about maximizing joy and vitality in your life by allowing Christ to transform you from the inside out to the point where you want to glorify Him in how you care for your body. In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic when we are more divided and isolated than ever before, we don’t want people to just survive, we want them to thrive. We want people to experience what life can be like when they walk with the Savior each day. We want people to experience life more abundantly.
