A Summer of Impact
1m read
he shocking death of Charlie Kirk has captivated the attention of people across America and around the world. But beyond the usual outburst of political discourse that follows such tragedies, there is a notable spiritual undertone echoing in the discussions.
This is no doubt due to Charlie being an unabashedly outspoken Christian who often shared his beliefs—particularly his commitment to honor the seventh-day Sabbath. In fact, Charlie wrote a book about the subject set to be published posthumously this December, and it is already topping Amazon’s pre-order charts. You can see it here: Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life
While we don’t know exactly what he wrote in the book and aren’t endorsing it, one thing is clear: The topic of the Sabbath is about to take center stage in public conversation. Thousands will soon be introduced to the Sabbath, and many will go searching for answers, hungry for something lasting and real.
This growing spiritual curiosity is already visible. Shortly after Charlie’s death, we launched the “Journeys through Psalms” Bible reading program —five days focused on Psalms about God’s justice and deliverance, delivered daily by email. The response was overwhelming: in less than a week, over 10,000 individuals signed up, looking to God for answers.
We recently heard from a young man who further confirms this deep spiritual hunger.
John, an ER nurse in the Pacific Northwest, has seen pain and tragedy every day—being up close to so much suffering like the violence that took Charlie’s life. Despite being surrounded by agnostic colleagues who struggled to see God through all that pain and loss, John himself began moving back toward faith. On that journey, he found our tract, “Why Would God Love Me?” at a truck stop. Its story—a father willing to give his life for his dying son in an ER—gave John clarity about God’s character and helped him rediscover a loving heavenly Father who is present with us through our pain.
The transformation didn’t stop there. John now leads a weekly Bible study at his church, and he is sharing these tracts with his coworkers to introduce them to the love of God too.
How many more Johns are out there, discouraged by a broken world but yearning for something better? How many of them are now getting motivated to find answers because of Charlie Kirk? We believe many will be open and seeking in the coming months, and we believe the Sabbath will be a major topic of interest. What an opportunity!
We want to be ready to meet the questions, to share resources, and to offer support to those who need hope the most, and we are already at work on developing resources to reach these searching souls. We want to help people come to a deeper and fuller understanding of the Sabbath truth. And we want to create resources to help you share with those you come in contact with as well. Will you join us in this mission?
We need your help to make the biggest impact. Your financial support will enable our team to focus on accomplishing this mission of introducing as many as possible to the vital truths for these last days. Will you stand with us as a financial partner in this vital work?
Here are ways to give today:
Your support will enable someone to find answers to their deep spiritual questions from God’s Eternal Word. The opportunity is right before us now and there’s no time to waste. Thank you for your support!

P.S. We also released a new feature where the Bible text advances with you as you listen to the audio Bible, and you can now quickly skip around the audio recording of the chapter by clicking the transcript. It’s available on the website now and will roll out to the mobile app very soon. Our team affectionately calls this the “karaoke” feature, and you can check it out right here: Read along Revelation 14
