How Low Can You Go?

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said Let there be light and there was light And God saw the light that it was good.

And God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light day and the darkness he called night.

And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And God said, let there be light and there was light.

God saw the light that it was good and God divided the light from the darkness.

Bible truth is light and those who walk in this light They walk in the light of Christ Because he is the light of the world and he is the word very early in the Bible God tells us I do not want light and darkness coexisting And so it is my determination to present to you the light of God's Word by keeping my opinions to myself and just giving you, thus saith the Lord, God does not want light and darkness commingling.

Our subject for this evening, how low can you go?

As always and I hope it's not too irritating.

Preserve reverence where you are and you have been doing that.

Favor number 2, pray for me while I'm speaking.

All I want you to say is Lord put your words in that man's mouth Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 9 then the Lord put forth his hand and touched my mouth and the Lord said unto me behold I have put my words in thy mouth.

Jeremiah as I just told you that's 1 of my favorite verses.

When God sent Moses to speak to Pharaoh Moses said I cannot speak That's Exodus 4 verse 10 and 11.

And God said to him in verse 12, now therefore go I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say.

The Spirit of the Lord speak by me and his word was in my tongue.

Good serious thinking must be a deliberate conscious process.

It does not happen reflexively or instinctively.

What happens instinctively is faulty thinking, but intelligent thinking requires a conscious process and so the Bible says come now let us reason together saith the Lord I hope you'll do that with me let us pray our loving Father in heaven we're so grateful you've preserved our lives unto this point.

As we bow in your sacred presence we ask you that God cleanses us from sin, from everything that is unlike you, large and small.

Do this particularly for me because my duty is to deliver the words of eternal life.

I humble myself before you, dear God, and I ask you to use me as you see fit.

Give them an understanding of your word, father, as you give me simple language.

If anyone is sick, Heal that person, dear God.

If you see fit not to heal, give great relief from all forms of suffering.

Remove COVID-19 from anyone who's listening to this message who may have that condition.

But above all heal us from the virus of sin I pray.

Now dear God, I commit this service to your glory and your glory alone.

I offer this prayer from my heart in Jesus name.

It's a very well-known verse when you see it you'll realize you can say it without looking.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.

And unto Adam he said because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife and has eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee saying thou shalt not eat of it.

In sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth unto thee and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.

In the sweat of thy face shall thou be bred to thou return unto the ground for out of it was thou taken.

For dust thou art and unto dust shall thou return.

He looks at a living man and says you are dust.

And you're going back to where the dust comes from which is the ground.

Keep in mind Genesis 2 7 and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground.

It's just about 640, I'll release you by before 730.

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

For he knoweth our frame, he remembereth that we are dust.

Not that we're ground he remembereth that we're dust let's go to Malachi chapter 4 let's read from verse 1 Malachi the very last book of the Old Testament, book 39 of the Bible, chapter 4, reading from verse 1, our subject, How low can you go?

For behold, the day cometh that shall do what burn as an oven and all the proud yea all that do wickedly shall be stubble and the day that cometh shall burn them up saved lot of hosts that it shall leave them neither what root nor branch Now when you are so completely burned up, the Bible says it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

And ye shall tread down the wicked under your feet for they shall be what?

In other words when you thoroughly burned the end product is ashes which symbolizes nothing.

God tells us in Ezekiel 28 verse 18 he shall bring Satan to ashes in the sight of all those who behold him because we know from Revelation 20 verse 10 he will be cast into the lake of fire ashes let's go to Genesis 18 let's go back Genesis 18.
