Sabbath Morning Thought

Good morning, everyone, or almost everyone, or almost no 1.

I thought people are, those who are alive and remain, maybe.

Where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, the Lord says, I'm in the midst.

Now I'm gonna share with you perhaps the most exciting thing in my short life that I've discovered.

So this morning, It is actually, I had been working with people, counseling for 15 years and using various formulas of different things, and I had neglected to utilize perhaps the best tool ever, which is the law of God.

The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring, reviving, converting the soul.

So I wrote a little book about that and they actually put it in your bag.

So if you want to read more, if I don't quite get done because I get overwhelmed with 1 point, you can read about it later in your in your bag All right.

So let's just look at this Let me just ask you a question this morning.

First of all, just raise your hand make sure they're working.

Okay good Wait, your hand doesn't work you and the green dress doesn't work, huh?

Oh, yeah, you've got a good answer there, okay?

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the top, how satisfied are you with your life?

Or you can actually both hands if you want.

You, sir, in the back, don't think you're exempt.

Whoa, buddy, I gotta get you some essential oils or something.

All right, so people I'm usually talking with in my counseling sessions, this is before I talk to them, they're usually a 2 or a 3, sometimes a 0.

So You guys are very blessed, but a lot of people in this world are carrying great burdens, and they're simply not satisfied with their lives.

And if they're not satisfied with their lives, then comes question number 2, Are there any lies that you're telling yourself?

You know, 80% of a person's thoughts are negative and 90% are repetitive according to the studies out of Stanford University, which may, you know, be why they're dissatisfied being there at Stanford, but 80% negative, 90% repetitive.

And they also say that you usually have 60 to 70, 000 thoughts a day.

How many of you, have you ever known someone that had a negative thought?

All right, we're gonna start, this is lying, we're talking about lying, okay?

Everyone should be raising their hand, this should be like an aerobic exercise like this.

Even Jesus had some negative thoughts, he was tempted by the devil.

The best of us are annoyed by negative thoughts.

So if you're dissatisfied, it's usually based on the fact that you have some kind of negative thought that's leading to that dissatisfaction or maybe a negative situation in your life.

Even if it's negative, then you're negative about it because it's negative.

In this case, 2 negatives don't make a positive.

Are you ready for questions this morning?

You're like, man, I'm too tired, I wanna lay down.

Have you ever, Oh, by the way, lies fragment societies.

Here's a picture of people that are honest in their relationships.

These are close coupled relationships or close relationships when you're telling the truth.

But if you start to lie, you're semi-honest, things start to separate a bit.

If you're dishonest, that causes isolation.

Compartmentalization and isolation, It's kind of interesting, isn't it?

So if you want to have fragmentation in your life or in your situation, just lie.

Have you ever been stolen from or have you ever stolen from someone else?

Have you ever been stolen from or stolen from someone else?

Or maybe another way, have you ever been abused or have you ever abused someone else?

I'm gonna assure you that in my counseling sessions, many times this is the case.

And perhaps when you think about it, have you ever felt like, you know, my parents just weren't there for me, they spent time somewhere else, or perhaps this or that, or you understand the question, right?

So if someone is dissatisfied, usually it's based on lies, and sometimes stealing is involved.

Now if you're dissatisfied, and you've been lied to or lying to others, you've been stolen from or stolen from others, abused or abused others, what do you think that does to your intimacy level?

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the top, how many of you would say you have some very intimate, positive relationships, that you're just very close to someone.

All right, this is a this is a very healthy group.

Since social media came out, the level of intimate relationships has plummeted.

It ends up that a Facebook relationship is not that close.

And intimacy has kind of been disrupted by electricity.

I mean, my phone's name is Macintosh, but I'm the real Macintosh, amen.

So sometimes my wife and I, she's sitting in the room texting me from in the house.

So if a person is not really satisfied with life, then usually they're listing some lies, they may be stealing or stolen from, and their intimacy may be disrupted.
