You are about to enjoy a presentation recorded at the 2023 Michigan Conference Camp Meeting held at Cedar Lake, Michigan.

We pray that the Lord will bless you as you listen.

Dear Father in Heaven, thank you so much for a beautiful Thursday in which we can serve you and learn how to serve you better.

We pray for each of the people who receive treatments today that you bless them, keep them well, Be with us as we seek to learn how to live more healthfully for you and help others.

Alright, we're doing about 50 to 60 treatments every single day here in the Natural Remedies Clinic.

So awesome for all of you guys helping out.

And there's a little connector doodad in there.

This is my high tech terminology for a doodad.

So Some of the pictures, unfortunately, are all full for people helping in the clinic.

There are some people that don't show up, so if you're still wanting to learn, you can just show up and see if there's availability.

Some of you have asked about osteoporosis.

He was just talking a little bit about that this morning.

He'll talk about whatever you guys will ask about.

And yeah, we've been having a lot of fun.

There's a culinary medicine team from this morning.

There's Nathan and Hilda, they're in the background doing the hot foot baths.

Then some great people doing the fomentations.

We greatly appreciate that she's able to come.

And there we have Anna, and then 1 of the other folks that's been learning hydrotherapy, which is great.

She's doing the joint fomentations with the cold.

Remember that gets the marginating white blood cells right into the bloodstream and really increases the circulation there.

I failed to mention about nettle for allergic rhinitis.

We didn't have time to go over allergic rhinitis, but it is in your handout from Tuesday, and this needs to be added to it.

There's quite a bit of research on netLT, and you can also apparently take it in capsules.

So this is allergic rhinitis would mean like all the spring allergies that all of us are having right now.

Or maybe some of you have it in the fall or winter or whatever.

And then another important thing is how to get good supplements.

It's not regulated, so sometimes it's actually even more dangerous to buy supplements because if you're getting it contaminated with different things you don't know where it came from.

The labels don't always look like this, but just make sure the company is GMP certified.

That stands for good manufacturing practices.

How long, Patty, did it take for us to find that B6?

We need a particular dose of B6, and it took us forever to find something that didn't have a ton of sugar and different stuff added to it.

Gelatin often comes from a non-vegetarian source.

Sterate often comes from a non-vegetarian source.

So just make sure that they say yes, this comes from a non-vegetarian source.

And you need to know where the natural flavors came from as well.

So remember, with vitamins and supplements, God did not have them growing on a tree in the Garden of Eden.

I think we talked about chronic pain and rheumatoid arthritis.

A lot of times when we're reversing disease or working with a physician, sometimes we need some supplement support.

Maybe we have some nutritional deficiencies.

But you should know why you're taking those supplements.

There's actually some studies that came out that said, oh, there's actually increased mortality when you take a multivitamin.

And so then they did some other research and were, like, very concerned, right?

And it turns out, and kind of when you put all the studies together, that multivitamins, just randomly taking a multivitamin and a healthy person has no effect.

So you should get the multivitamin for all the multiple colorful things that God has provided.

They're all there and they're packaged in a way that is helpful.

The bioavailability is better and it is packaged in a way that's gonna be more helpful for you.

So you should know why you're taking vitamins and supplements for a specific reason if you need to.

How do natural remedies relate to the gospel?

They help me experience the gospel more deeply.

As I reach out in faith to resist temptations and change my health habits, it helps me depend on God more and experience the gospel more deeply.

Now when I help and kindly educate others and help them replace unhelpful things with healthy things, offer them something better, not derating them for eating all the unhelpful things, that they owe their whole family, that they knew their entire life and they know nothing different.

No, offer them something better and they can experience the gospel as well and you can encourage them in their journey.

And secondly, how can many people improve or reverse their metabolic diseases?

Whole Foods plant-based diet, which has a lot of fiber in it, and the healthy fats, low fat, and a healthy dose of self-control, claiming God's promises.

Alrighty, Tuesday, we looked at natural remedies and the process of natural remedies.

And then we also looked at respiratory illnesses.

And so generally, a whole foods plant-based diet, not a bunch of sugar, will help prevent or shorten respiratory illness, as well as we looked at some of the different hydrotherapy and demonstrated some of the hydrotherapy that would boost immunity and circulation.

From Wednesday, okay, turn to the person next to you, And if you were here yesterday or if you weren't, review how do you sort through various treatments or natural remedies coming from a different world view than your own?

So many of you have said, yeah, but doctors, just if I don't wanna take their, try to push medications on me, But I would like a diagnosis.

But then they're not necessarily educating you about what's causing it.

What about some of these Eastern things that come from more alternative medicine, those types of world views?

So talk to the person next to you about that.

And the second question, how could many people improve or potentially stop their chronic pain?
