Have you ever wondered what the most dreaded sin is? Did you ever hear the song by Johnny Cash that quotes the bible saying he who is filthy, let him be filthy still, and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still? What was he talking about? Is there a sin so terrible that it cannot be pardoned by God? Can we still have hope that God will forgive us despite our transgressions, or are we utterly doomed?

The most accepted interpretation of this unpardonable sin mentioned in Matthew 12 is that a person repeatedly and deliberately rejects truth and love. Sad, right? Well, just as the sun rises after the darkest night, so too can the heart turn towards love and truth after a period of denial. This is because God, in His boundless love and mercy, has endowed us with the potent power of free will so that at any moment we can choose to embrace truth and love and thereby open ourselves to His divine forgiveness. So let us remember, it is never too late to turn towards the light.

Let’s unveil the love of God and really understand the ground where we should not tread as Gary, Christy, and Dee illuminate the pages of Biblical hope.
