We're gonna be talking about the Tribe of God's Church, but leading into that with the kind of idea of the close of probation, the 7 last plagues, and then the God's great final victory.

A number of years ago, there was a lumberjack living in Australia.

He had a little cabin, didn't have much, but just loved his little cabin, lived off the grid way up in the country.

1 day he was out cutting lumber, looked back toward that cabin that he had built with his own hands and he noticed smoke rising.

His heart did a double take and he began to get back toward the cabin and he saw that it was totally consumed.

Burned to the ground and as he was walking by the cabin he came to his chicken coop and he saw all these dead chickens.

In an almost disappointment and disgust he kicked 1 of the old hens and out from under that hen 5 little baby chicks ran.

And he looked at that and he said, That mother spread her feathers out in that great time of trouble and protected those little chicks.

In Psalm 91, God tells us, God uses a very similar illustration in the 91st Psalm.

Yesterday, while I was walking between meetings, somebody came up to me and said, Pastor Mark, there is a lady in our church, a faithful woman, who when we talk about the time of trouble and difficulty, she is so incredibly fearful.

And I've had a number of young people say to me from time to time, I am so fearful, I just don't even want to consider this idea of the time of trouble because I don't think I could make it.

The incredible good news is found in Psalm 91.

So if you have your Bible, I pray that you'll take it and turn to Psalm 91.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High.

What is the secret place of the Most High?

It is the heavenly sanctuary where the Shekinah glory of God is there.

And by faith, we enter in with Christ as our high priest in the judgment hour into heaven's sanctuary.

And as we do, we find refuge and strength, we find help, and we find protection.

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

In the sanctuary above, as we dwell there by faith, in the most holy place, the shadow of Jesus is upon us.

I will say to the Lord, He's my refuge, He's my strength, my fortress, my God in Him I'll trust.

Surely He'll deliver you from the snare of the fowler." What's a snare?

So the devil has traps for us, but as by faith we abide with Christ in the sanctuary, the Lord delivers us from those traps.

Notice verse 3 at the end, from the perilous pestilence, that's plague language, isn't it?

He'll cover you with his feathers and what?

What was it that was above the mercy seat?

So as we dwell in the secret place of God, the tabernacle of the Most High by faith, we're under the wings of the protection of divine angels as we face the time of trouble.

Look, you won't be afraid of the hour of the flies by day, that the pestilence, the disease that goes in darkness, the destruction that lays in waste, 1000 can fall at your side, 10000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you, only your eyes will look and see the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord as my refuge, even the most high, your habitation.

See, that's your dwelling place by faith.

No evil shall befall you, nor any plague come nigh your dwelling.

So in the plagues that are coming in the future, they will not afflict God's people.

That doesn't mean that we will not be affected by the result of what goes on, but we certainly will not receive the sores that take place.

We certainly will not be scorched by the sun.

And we're gonna look at those plagues and see Christ in the plagues.

Because the last 7 are fell only on the Egyptians.

Yeah, the first 3 of the 10 plagues fell where?

And the last 7 plagues are not going to fall upon God's people.

Here God tells us that the experience of ancient Israel is similar to the experience of God's people at end time.

Now all these things happened to them, that is Israel, verse 11, 1st Corinthians 10, as examples.

The ends of the ages or the ends of the world have come.

So when you look at the experience, when you look at the experience of Israel, the things that happened there are examples to us today.

Now, let's think about the parallel between the Exodus and the Advent movement.

God led Israel out of the bondage of Egypt.

God is leading an end time people out of the bondage of the Egypt and Babylon of this world.

God worked miracles to lead his people out of Egyptian bondage.

The 7 last plagues that affected only the Egyptians will only affect the worldly unbelievers and those that rejected God's love and care.

There was a point at which Israel placed the blood on the doorpost indicating the blood of Christ is that which saves.

It's only the blood of Jesus, the grace of Jesus, the power of Jesus that will get us through.

Now the question then becomes when does probation close?

And we find some clues in that, Revelation chapter 22.

And we're looking there at verse 11 and 12.

Probation does not close at some arbitrary point on the calendar which God says, okay, my mercy has run out, whoever is in is in, whoever is out is out, not at all.

Probation does not close because God's mercy has run out.

Probation does not close because God's love is no longer sufficient to save.

If it doesn't close at some arbitrary point on the calendar that God has foreordained, where it just says, I'm gonna close probation then, And it's like the door closes in the Ark of Noah.

You're either in or in, you're out or out.

Let's look and see if we can discover some answers.

He who is unjust, let him be unjust still.

He who is filthy, let him be filthy still.

He who is righteous, let him be righteous still.

My reward is with me to give everyone according to his work.

I am Alpha and Omega, and the beginning and the first and the last.

He that is righteous, let him be righteous still.

He that is filthy, let him be filthy still.

Probation closes because everybody has already made their final irrevocable decision.

If mercy's door would be open for another hundred years, 1000 years, nobody would make any more decisions.
